The Investigation

I called about the investigation and was informed they recently reopened the case after finding what was identified as my wife's jewelry, namely my grandmother's ring in a safe of a human trafficker. His DNA was found on my wife and they think his wife was involved in the crime as well. They just found her in the US and they have her in custody. They are trying her and him for human trafficking, murdering and kidnapping not just my wife but others. They were just starting the human trafficking and my ransom money helped them enlarge their business. I feel sick to my stomach and he goes on and tells me that they rarely find the bodies and they know that the husband wife team was behind it after all this time. They refused to give me the names and told me they are working on getting all the evidence in order before they take it before the courts to stand trial. Both are being tried separately and he hops they turn on each other now that they are divorced. I am betting Eamon knows a lot more about it, but I don't like his tactics about fishing for information and I can't trust he won't put the case in jeopardy.

Amanda
Elliott decided to give me a ride home along with Kate Kavanagh and her mother along with Mia. He had me sit in front with him and his driver for the night. Mia, Kate and Enid were happily chuckling in the back seat a bit drunk when the Kavanagh's were dropped at their mansion. Mia was dropped off at a place called Escala and we waited while the driver escorted her to her apartment and arrived back. It took about five minutes and Elliott asked me out to dinner and I accepted his invitation and we exchanged numbers. It wasn't long until we arrived at my home where Elmer was watching from the window as Elliott walked me to the front door after helping me unlock our gates. I opened the front door and Elmer ran to me and climber on my jeans all while growling at Elliott. I told him she was our guard kitten. Who is getting bigger by the day. He got closer and allowed her to smell him and she finally stopped growling at him.

Elliott
I was scared her cat was going to attack me, but she went straight up Amanda's jeans and into her arms, the growling scared me for a moment and then I recalled if you let them smell and see you are no danger they will calm down. I was finally able to touch her head and she purred. I tell Amanda goodnight and watch he go inside her home and I hear the doors lock and I go back and leave the property. I try to open the gate to get back out and I hear hold on from an intercom and the gates open and we are able to leave. They close soon after the bumper gets past them and lock.

Kate
I am sure Elliott has a thing for Amanda and who wouldn't she is very outgoing like him and both like to dance. Her sister was sitting with Christian most of the night and after what my dad said I just felt uncomfortable going and sitting with them so I went up and danced. Mom ended up talking to Grace and Carrick all evening. No doubt she is asking Carrick to be her attorney in divorcing my dad. Dad hasn't been very forthcoming about what he knows regarding the Steele kidnapping and murder case, but he knows more than he says. It is like that time when Ethan was taken and finally found three weeks later in a hospital after being beaten and sexually assaulted. He still has the scars and he has never been the same. He either can't recall who did it or he doesn't want to prosecute them. There were missing persons reports everywhere, but he was found just like Carla Steel's body was found I recall mom and dad talking about a possible connection. Ethan was 14 and a boy and the marks were similar to hers. The chain marks matched. How dad knew that is beyond me, but he did. He has sources that none of us are aware of and he has no intention of giving them up.

Ethan
I nearly fainted when dad spoke of the kidnapping of mr Steele's wife and her death. I was told by my kidnappers if I identified them I would end up dead just like mrs Steele did. I swore I wouldn't tell anyone and they left me where I could be found but unconscious and barely breathing. They had to transfuse me and then operate as soon as I was able to be operated on. They took DNA samples and a rape kit. It was very humiliating to me. No wonder women hate getting those kits done. I was luckily going in and out of consciousness and they had it done before I really registered it in my mind. My parents arrived with Kate and they had the look of horror on their faces when they saw me. Luckily the plastic surgeon was excellent and he did a great job of my face reconstruction. He made me look a lot better in the end. I had to homeschool and then do on line courses to get caught up. I graduated in the top five %. I know the people who grabbed me were the ones behind mrs Steele's kidnapping as well as her death. They grabbed me when I was in New York and my parents had allowed me to go out on my own finally. It is a good thing Kate didn't get her way and be allowed to come with me. They might have killed her. I hope they get the people and they give them the death penalty.
