"YOU CANNOT yell 'Break! Break! Jesus, Laurie! Break!' every time I come close to a light, stop sign or even a small bump in the road!" Laurie argued. "Also, every time you yell 'Have mercy, this is how I'm gonna die' it kinda makes it hard to focus on the road!" Laurie added, mimicking her older brother.
"You were like a foot away from hitting that garbage can!" Troy defended.
"I wasn't even near the garbage can!" Lauren yelled. Troy dropped his head down onto the dashboard, sighing dramatically.
"Okay, alright, just get us home without killing us." Troy mumbled.
"I'm a great driver, you're just a scared wuss." Laurie teased, smirking. Troy shot up, dramatically gasping.
"Scared wuss!? May I remind you, that you are the one who is terrified of grasshoppers!?" Troy laughed.
"Yeah yeah, whatever." Laurie rolled her eyes playfully as she began to drive down the road, purposely swerving the car few times, making Troy hang onto the passenger seat dramatically.
"If you crash and we die, I'll kill you." Troy stated. Laurie chuckled and began to make her way back down the road. After a few minutes of mindlessly chatting and riving, Lauren's phone gave a small ding, calling her attention to it.
"Who is it?" She asked Troy. He picked up her phone, turning it on to see the notification. He gave her a side eye glance.
"Connor." He responded, giving her a smile with an eyebrow raise. "So, what's even going on between you two?" He asked.
"Nothing. He's just a really good friend." Lauren lied. Troy picked up her phone again. "Troy! No! Don't read it!" Laurie practically screeched at her brother who laughed. The car swerved slightly as Laurie took one hand off the wheel to grab her phone.
"Hey! Eyes on the road!" Troy laughed, holding his sister's phone above his head.
"Troy I'm about to kick your ass into space!" Laurie yelled.
"Well, bejeez!" Troy laughed, setting her phone down. Laurie huffed, holding back a small laugh and kept her eyes glued on the road, refusing to even send one glance to her brother. After a while of silence Troy finally spoke up. "He wants to see if you want to hang out today since there's no football practice." Troy stated, holding back laughter.
"TROY!" Laurie shouted as her brother burst into laughter.

"Sorry I didn't respond earlier; Troy was taking me out to practice driving." Said Lauren. She was on a phone call with Connor, her phone sat on her vanity as she spun around in her chair.
