"IT'S TOO early for this. Even for me. And I'm a pretty mediocre morning person." A half-asleep Lauri groaned.

"You're only a good morning person when you wake up to go on morning runs." Troy stated. "So go on a run, wake yourself up." He chuckled.

"Yeah, it'd be like a five-minute run since we have to leave in like a few minutes." Laurie yawned. "How are you staying awake, right now?" She asked. Troy smiled and held up a thermos cup.

"Coffee, caffeine. Want some?" He offered, holding up the coffee pot.

"Nah, coffee is too bitter for me. And caffeine doesn't wake me up, it just keeps me up at night." Laurie responded.

"You drink a Red Bull like every day." Troy scoffed.

"Lies. That was like once, it's my guilty pleasure." Laurie chuckled, waving him off.

"I beg to differ but unfortunately we have to be leaving in a few minutes so, get dressed get ready." Troy said. Laurie looked down at her shorts and simple shirt.

"I am dressed, idiot." She dead panned. He smirked jokingly back at his sister holding back a laugh at her tired and annoyed face.

"Thought you slept in that." Troy joked. Laurie gasped and threw her balled up napkin at Troy who laughed, slapping the ball of paper away. "C'mon, help me load the stuff into the truck." Troy chuckled, waving his sister over. She sighed, jokingly reluctant and trudged over.

"One game away from the championship. You excited?" Laurie asked Connor as the two sat in the same seat as per usual on the bus, making small conversation.

"Pretty excited, a little nervous since if we don't win, we don't go to the championship, but I have faith in us." Connor replied. "You sure you don't want one of Jamie's 'Super logs'?" Asked Connor, holding up an odd log shaped protein bar. Laurie grimaced at the sight.

"I'm okay." Laurie smiled politely. Connor chuckled, shrugging, knowing how gross it truly looked.

"Really? Not in the mood for puke colored log?" Connor grimaced, half joking.

"Precisely." Laurie chuckled.
