The next day came around, same morning schedule as yesterday. This time, they got ready and just went on a simple walk around their area, just to explore their surroundings.
Eddie grabbed a hold on Richie's wrist when everyone was walking, making it so that they were at the back.
"Can you tell me what happened now?" Eddie asked the curly haired boy, who chuckled.
"It really doesn't matter."
"Look at you!"
"Damn, Eds! I'm.. hurt..!" Richie mocked. Eddie scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Richie, I'm serious!" Eddie said with a smack to Richie's shoulder.
"Look, I got all mad at some older dude at the arcade and he beat my ass. That's all," Richie explained.
Eddie stayed silent for a moment. "I need a name, last name and an address," the shorter boy spoke. Richie snickered.
"Yeah yeah, calm your balls, spaghetti man," Richie sighed as he threw his arm over Eddie's shoulders.
The group ahead of the two stopped, and Richie and Eddie looked up. They were all looking in one direction.
"I-Is it just me that sees that? Or..?" Ben asked.
"No, no I see it," Beverly mumbled, a swallow following.
"But.. hh-how?" Bill asked, barely audible.
"What are you guys looking at?" Richie asked. Beverly and Ben both pointed to something to their left. Richie and Eddie's faces both dropped at the sight.
A two story house stood in front of them. There weren't other houses around, so it couldn't have just been a neighborhood coincidence. Most of the windows were boarded up, as well as the door. Dead trees swarmed around the decrepit building, as well as the gross, old grass planted in the front yard. The house was old, brown, and just genuinely looked disgusting.
Only one place like such. The Neibolt house.
Richie shivered at the sight. "What are we gonna do?!" Eddie asked frantically.
"I th-think we should go in. Kill It once and f-for all," Bill suggested.
"Uh, haha, no. We didn't even kill It those few weeks ago! How do we know we can still do it here?" Richie butted in.
"This does not sound like a good plan, Bill. Like, you know it's bad when I'm agreeing with the Trashmouth Richie Tozier," Stanley agreed. Richie nodded and pointed at Stanley with an open hand.
Bill sighed. "I g-get it's scary to go back in there after not even h-ha-having a month to recover. Especially from what we've gone through, what we've seen, the pain we've been in," Bill said, looking at Eddie at the last part, "but if we don't at least try and fight it off now, it would take longer for it to l-leave again and come back in twenty seven years. Either way, it'd come back. We w-w-want to stop that, right?"
Everyone nodded. "Let's just go," Mike sighed.
The Losers all followed Bill towards the house slowly, the door creaking open as a welcome. The interior is completely different than last time, in fact, it's not a house at all. When they enter, they find themselves creeping around dark, rusted hallways.
"This is not how I remember it," Eddie whimpered lowly.
"Let's see here," Beverly whispered to herself, walking up to a door and turning the handle, watching as it slowly opened. She led the way through it, only to come across another door inside the empty room.
