The basement one was boarded as well, and the Losers took deep breaths, seeing that the mystery door was wide open. Though, it was much more relaxing to see since it had a bright, white light shining through it.

"Is this it?" Stanley asked, looking closely at the door. He tried to see something through it, but could hardly see anything.

"I don't know.. guess we'll see," Beverly chuckled. They all entered the room, but it was just a bright room with another door in it. That door was open. They could see inside, even though it was pitch black with a single color inside.

"Uhh?" Eddie looked at the others, pointing to the room inside of the small frame with glowing letters above it that read 'The Smile Room.'

"Is that a balloon?" Mike mumbled in question.

"A fucking red balloon," Richie said. "That's a sign It's still here."

"Shit," Stanley groaned, rubbing his face.

"How do you know that for sure?" Beverly asked, trying at anything to make it a lie.

"There's been a red balloon at every one of our encounters with It. It's kinda blatant," Richie pointed out.

"Didn't you like- not have one?" Eddie asked.

"I did," Richie mumbled uncharacteristically. He hated the entire thing. The event before, event during, and event after. It sucked ass.

"Elaborate?" Eddie crossed his arms and cocked an eyebrow. Richie shrugged and walked to the door, the others following.

"Let's just get this shit over with," Richie sighed. Everyone entered the room cautiously, looking around with wide eyes as they entered.

"It says something on it," Beverly pointed out.

The balloon was, clearly, red, and in white letters it read 'I 🤍 DERRY.'

"Derry.." Ben mumbled. The door slammed behind them, leaving the room pitch black.

"It's too dark.." Beverly whispered.

"Pop! Pop! Pop!" faint screams of children are heard in the distance. The balloon light up, somehow it glowed.

"We have to pop it?" Mike spoke.

"Guess so," Bill mumbled. Everyone put their hand on different areas of the balloon. "Everyone push as hard as you can on the count of three. One.. two.. three!"

Everyone put pressure on the red balloon and it popped, and a voice spoke, this time it was a girl voice. It didn't sound like It.

"I want to play one last game!" the voice spoke, causing everyone to jump.

"Wh-what..?" Bill mumbled.

"It's called.. RUN." The Losers exchanged terrified looks, which eventually caused them to all turn around to where they entered from. The room had turned into an extended, long hallway, everyone gawked at the sudden change in environment.

"What the fuck?!" Richie squeaked. There was a large, chain, metal fence standing before them.

"Ten. Nine," the voice counted.

"Fuck fuck! Fuck! Hurry!" Eddie yelled.

"We gotta lift it!" Bill announced to everyone, running up to the large gate.

"How will we get everyone?!" Stanley screamed over the scratchy counting. The Losers struggled to lift the heavy gate from the ground.

"We just will! T-r-rust me!" Bill screamed back, and the gate lifted from the ground. The Losers put every muscle in the seven of their bodies together and pushed up, holding it up so everyone could go under it.
