CHAPTER - 4 BIRTHDAY PARTY !!

Devansh was sitting in his college canteen with his friends Rishab and Ananya. Devansh was getting bugged with security. He didn't know how many more days he had to bear them and stay at the house. It has been a month since his bhaiyya was not allowing him to go anywhere. His bhaiyya lashed out on him 2 days before when he bugged to go out with his friends.

Rishab – Aaj tu aaraha hai na?

Devansh frowned – Kaha?

Rishab – Mai ne kaha tha na aaj party hai ghar pe, My birthday party.

Devansh – Lekin birthday tho kal hai na?

Rishab – par party aaj hai.

Devansh sighed. His bhaiyya wouldn't allow him – Mai nahi aapaunga, Rishi. Bhaiyya nahi manenge.

Rishab sighed. He knew Abhimanyu very well. He would not allow Devansh – Teek hai phir. Party cancel karte hai.

Devansh – Kyu?

Rishab – Kya matlab Kyu? Ab mera best friend ke bina party thodi ho sakti hai. Koi baat nahi kal subah tere saath hi manaunga.

Devansh whacked him – Pagal hogaya hai tu? Tu party cancel nahi karega.

Rishab – Meri marzi. Meri party.

Devansh sighed – Mai bhaiyya ko manane ki khoshih karta hu. Tu party cancel mat kar. Mai aunga party me.

Rishab – Nahi. Koi zarurat nahi hai. Bhai already bahut pareshan hai. Mai keh raha hu na, kal subah karte hai.

Devansh – Mai bol tho raha hu bhaiyya ko manaunga. Tu party cancel nahi karega and that is final.

Devansh left from there not giving his friend any chance to retort.

Rishab looked at Ananya. Ananya shook her head – Party rakhle. Bhaiyya ko manalega vo.

Rishab sighed.

Roy house......

Abhimanyu was in his study going through files. Devansh went to his bhaiyyu asking him to convince his bhaiyya. Anirudh tried to refuse but Devansh was not ready to take no for an answer. Anirudh didn't have any choice left. Now, both were standing out of the study since last 5 min debating on whom to go inside. Abhimanyu saw them good 5 minutes ago but was waiting to see who will come first. He was sure Devansh will push Anirudh. And exactly the same happened.

Devansh pushed Anirudh inside. Devansh slowly went inside and stood behind Anirudh. Abhimanyu knew Devansh brings Anirudh only when he wants something which he doesn't approve. Now, what did his boy want?

Anirudh very sweetly – Bhaiyya...

Abhimanyu didn't look up from his file – Get out Anirudh if it is not about you.

Anirudh gulped and looked at Devansh who was pleading with his eyes. Anirudh prayed to God to save him from the lion and decided to face it – Bhaiyya...

Abhimanyu looked up(sternly) – I said get out if it is not about you. Jisko jo chahiye vo khud puch sakta hai. You are a lawyer in court Anirudh not in this house. Atleast not in front of me. Now, get out.

Anirudh being Anirudh can not leave his kid brother alone –Dev hi puchega bhaiyya. I will just stay here.

Anirudh avoided Abhimanyu's glare and sat on chair.

Abhimanyu looked at Devansh. Devansh gulped – Rishab ka birthday hai bhaiyya.

Abhimanyu – Hum sab ki taraf se birthday wishes bhej dena.
