9 Rescued By the School's Goddess

It's been two weeks since that "lunch date" with Katsuki and since then, the blonde will always invite him to lunch that it only resulted to Mina, Denki and Ochaco joining them. But just like Kirishima and Sero, they let Katsuki and Izuku have their own table and the five of them will sit on a table not far away from the two.

Mina is particularly happy about it. Ochaco started teasing Izuku every time they are back in the apartment. Denki would just join Ochaco much to Izuku's dismay. Mina will also give them some theories that makes Izuku embarrassed.

"Come on Zuku! Listen!" Mina said while holding him by his wrist. Izuku trying to get away, tired of listening already and just wants to go back into his room and curl into his bed.

"What if Katsuki tries to court you? Or what if he confessed? What would you do?" Denki asked and Izuku frowns.

"Stop with the "what if's " Denki. I don't want to think about it because I don't know what is Katsuki's intentions. There are a lot of what if's I can think of and I am not ready to hear any of it." Izuku whined. Ochaco suddenly became silent. Then she sighs.

"Izu, don't tell me... you're in love with Bakugo?" She asked and Izuku immediately turned red.

"W-what makes you say that!?" He yelled.

"Why are you being defensive Zuku?" Mina asked with a playful smirked. Izuku then put both of his hands into his face. His flustered face.

"Awee, how adorable! But Zuku, you will join us this Friday right? I know that Bakubae already invited you! Dude, Bakubae never invites anyone. It was mostly Kiri and I or Sero who always invites people around. So the moment he invited you, YOU, he invited you personally, means, you are someone very special to him." Mina said. Izuku feels the heat rising on his cheeks once again.

He was invited two weeks ago but he was a complete coward and didn't join eventhough he said yes to Katsuki. Mina then told him that Katsuki looks upset so he apologizes to him. He asked for his number from Mina and he called him right away saying that he was just too busy but he will try to join next time. Which he was not able to do as well because his Mom asked him to go home that afternoon after class. He also texted Katsuki so he is aware.

According to Mina, Katsuki was still upset but mostly because Izuku was still not able to join them. This time, tomorrow night, he will definitely join them. He already made a promise to Katsuki yesterday because the blonde keeps on begging him to join them. Yes, the great Katsuki Bakugo begs him. Izuku definitely feels special. But he just shove the feeling at the back of his mind. Right now, Katsuki and him were even able to established any relationship. He didn't even know if they are friends, best friend or just classmates.

But Mina said, Katsuki is not someone who will approach first. He has too much pride but he literally talk to Izuku first. He invited him to have lunch with him multiple times. He did that even if he rejected the blonde before. He also invited him to their get-together every Friday which is shocking to Mina and even Kiri say so. Katsuki never invited anyone. Kirishima and Sero just invited themselves in and because Katsuki sees them as less annoying than others, he lets them. The rest was invited by Kiri and Sero themselves.

The fact that Katsuki invited Izuku was a shocking discovery for the others. Izuku didn't want to assume things. Maybe Katsuki just finds him amusing or interesting. But how long is he going to be amused or interested in him? What if he gets bored and decided that he didn't want Izuku around him anymore? What if he realizes one day that he is just waiting his time for someone like Izuku?

Izuku's self-doubt if actually quite strong. All of his insecurities are eating him alive every time. Izuku never said that he loves himself. He never consider self love as a necessity especially to someone like him. He is not even proud of all his achievements. He can't seem to love himself at all and be confident.

Izuku was snapped out of his spiraling thoughts when Mina tapped him on his shoulder. He looked up and saw them looking worriedly at him.

"Izu, I know what is going on in that pretty little head of yours. Stop it. You're amazing, don't let anyone tell you otherwise." Mina said while pulling him into an embrace. His two friends also hugd him. That night, Izuku cried in Mina's arms.

The next day, Izuku goes to school together with Denki and it just happens that both of them have the same vacant time so Denki drag Izuku into his favorite hiding spot. It's not really hidden. It is located at the back of their building. There is a bench under a big mango tree and the cool breeze is quite refreshing. Today, Katsuki together with Sero and Kirishima were drag by one of their professors so they were not able to hangout with Izuku.

"Dude, I will just run into the cafeteria and buy some snacks for us. We have two hours break today because one of our professors were on leave so it's good to have some snacks. Wait for me, 'kay?" Denki said and Izuku nodded before Denki took off.

Izuku sighs before closing his eyes. Enjoying the peacefulness he is feeling right now. Two minutes later, he snapped his eyes open when he heard footsteps. He looks up and saw some of his classmates walking towards him and he sits up.

"Why are they here?" Izuku asked himself.

One of them stops walking right in front of Izuku. If Izuku remembers, her name would be Alice. Izuku didn't speaks or acknowledge any of them.

"You're even saying hi? Nerd?" Aloce said then yank him by his hoodie. Izuku was not ready for it so he stumbled when Alice fling him sideways. You know, Izuku is not really that weak. On the contrary, he is actually quite strong. But he really can't hurt other people so he just let them bully him.

Izuku stands up and removes the dirt from his pants. He is wondering when Denki will show up. He really didn't want to get into trouble by beating up this bullies. There are like 7 of them. 4 boys and 3 girls.

"Damn, Alice, you're quite strong aren't you? Or the nerd is just too weak?" One of the guys says. Alice then smirks.

"Oh, I am definitely strong Chris." She said with a smug look. Izuku internally snorted. This girl Alice is definitely weak compared to him but he didn't really like stepping on weak people.

"Hey nerd, we are just here to remind you of your place. Seems like you had forgotten it." Alice said and yank Izuku's wrist. This time, Izuku slap her hand away and it only made her mad.

"Oh, the nerd got some attitude!" One of the girls said.

"Nerd, you should've never associated yourself with Katsuki. He is Katsuki Bakugo and you're just a pebble on the pavement. You don't deserve standing beside him. Your weak ass is so lame. You're gonna tarnish his reputation." One of the guys insulted him while smiling mockingly. Izuku really wants to throw a punch. But he decided to fight back only if they hit him first.

The other guy was about to speak when someone interrupted them.

"You know that bullying is prohibited in here right?" Someone stated. Voice full of authority.

The girls were so shock upon seeing the woman and they started explaining but the woman just told them to get out of her face and she told them not to do it again. While this is happening, Izuku was just watching. He is trying to remember who this woman is.

After the bullies left, the woman turned her head on him and smiled. This time, her voice had gone from stern to soft.

"Hello, you are Midoriya Izuku right?" She asked and Izuku nodded.

"Nice meeting you. I am Yaoyarozou Momo."
