The Heartthrob and The Nerd

Okay, it's now Monday and Izuku is a little nervous. After he realized his feelings for Katsuki, he feels like it's the end of the world for him. He got three reasons for that: first; Katsuki will never like him back. Second: He is just a nerdy Izuku and Katsuki is the heartthrob. Lastly, third: he doesn't want to get caught up with Katsuki and get his peaceful life, chaotic. Although it would definitely be awesome to have Katsuki as a boyfriend but, that will only happen in his dreams.

"What should I do?" He whispers. He didn't want to actually see Katsuki today. No, scratch that. He wants to see him. He needed to see him for his peace of mind but Katsuki's presence is actually dangerous for his heart. Everytime he sees him, he feels something within himself. It's something that makes him feel excited or something.

He sighs once again.  Katsuki is someone who suddenly appeared in his life without him expecting it. He is actually thinking of having a normal and peaceful college life. All he wants to think about is his studies, everything related to his studies but now, he keeps on thinking about the blonde. Someone who disturbed the calm water that runs into the river of his life. The one that forms ripples on his waters.

He is scared. Scared that he will fall deeper for Katsuki and once he is deep enough, he will get hurt. He didn't know why Katsuki approached him first. It's either he is interested in him or he is just bored. He is someone who didn't grovel beneath Katsuki's feet so Katsuki might be intrigued. But what if his interest for him wavered? What if it's just a limited kind of affection or interest? He didn't know what to do. This is the first time he felt this way towards others and he is not aware of the things he needed to do.

"Izu? Why are you still here? You're going to be late on your first period." He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Mina's voice.

"Huh? Ah! Yeah, I'm about to go now." He said while smiling sheepishly.

"Hmm? Be careful okay?" She said then waved her hand at him. He just smiled and waved back before leaving.

Mina sighs. She is really rooting for Katsuki and Izuku but she didn't know how to get those two together. She knew them both and she knows that they will make a good couple. She just didn't know what she should do for those two to be together. Maybe establish atleast friendship between them. It's better when it starts with friendship anyway.

Izuku is now sitting on his chair, same seat he had the first day. Katsuki is still not there and he sighs out of relief. He might get flustered if he saw him so he needed to prepare himself first. Izuku tried to calm his breathing and fan his hand in front of his face.

Minutes later, Katsuki arrives together with Sero and Kirishima as always. The two immediately goes to their seats while Katsuki make his way towards him and sit beside him. Well, he actually smiled at him and he smiled back at him. He might look calm but there is a ragung storm of emotions inside his head. Katsuki sitting beside him. So close to him. Their seats are supposed to be actually a meter apart from each other but Katsuki moved his chairs so he is so closed to him.

Izuku feels his heart beating so fast. His breathing quickens and he can't explain his feelings. He feels excited and there are something that is tickling his stomach. He wants to cover his face and squeal or kick his feet. He also wants to hit something or anything to stop himself from feeling this way? What is this? What is this rush of emotions?

This only happens whenever Katsuki is arround and he can't concentrate. He feels his cheeks getting warmer. He can't believe that this is happening to him. He might faint if this feelings won't stop. Katsuki is really amazing for making him feel this way. He hopes that Katsuki won't talk to him because he will definitely stutter. Katsuki's effect is too strong for him to handle.

He tries to steady his breathing once again. He needs to calm down or he will give Katsuki the idea that he is also head over heels for him. Which is actually true. No matter how many times Izuku denies it, he definitely has deep feelings for Katsuki and he can't change that. He won't be able to stop it anymore. Katsuki had already taken his heart with him and even if Izuku wants it back, he knows that he can't have it back anymore.

There is no doubt, Katsuki already owns his heart. His mind as well. He owns him. He denies that though. He will continue denying that until he is sure that Katsuki feels the same.

Hours had passed and now, it's time for lunch. Izuku's class for this day is actually 8 hours so he will be in school for the whole day. For lunch, he usually eats alone when his friends are not there. Good thing, his friends are here in the school today so he got some company for lunch.

He is about to stand up and get out of the room when Katsuki reach for his hands and stop him from standing. Izuku immediately felt a sudden jolt if electricity runs through his veins when Katsuki touch his skin. He almost whimpered. Almost. Gosh, that would be embarrassing. His heart is going from miles again. Dang it.

"W-why? Do you need a-anything?" He managed to asked amidst the swirl of emotions he is feeling.

"Would you like to have lunch with me? You can invite your friends if they are here." Katsuki said and Izuku, being Izuku himself, agrees immediately without hesitation.

That's how strong Katsuki's presence in his life is.
