And there it was. The sad feeling of leaving something behind. I understand it was for my familys safety but that was our home. My home.
I turn one last time around to stare at the forest, not realising how small it was getting.
A few tears fall from my eyes and once I rub them I look around to see my family sobbing as well. Mostly Tuk.

After a few hours of flying we arrive at a beautiful place with water surrounding the mountains. As we fly closer I could point out the water Na'vi pointing at us in awe.

That was my dads plan. To seek shelter somewhere far from the forest. I never knew it'd be here.

As we land on the small space of sand I see many Na'vi surrounding us and our ikrans. These people look very different compared to us. Their skin is a lighter tone and theyre eyes are very beautiful and a sky blue colour. Their tails are thick and it looks very strong.

Once we get off our ikran, I notice someone push through the small crowd. A boy. A very handsome boy. As soon as our eyes met, he smiled. The butterflies I felt in my stomach were wild. Then he turned to Neteyam and Lo'ak who greeted him with a gesture. I dont think the boy seemed interested in making friends with them.

Before anyone could say anything a noise caught our attention, a girl who was absolutely gorgeous appeared out of the water. She was riding some creature headed towards us. Once she got onto the sand she smiled at me and the boys.

"Hey." Lo'ak bluntly said to her. She smiled at him and looked away. I turned to Neteyam seeing that we clearly thought the same thing. ʻSomeones got a crush'.
It was natural for me and Neteyam to think the same things because we're twins. Bad thing is hes only older by 2 minutes.

Then a buff man with tattoos on his face shot up from under the water gliding in our direction. As he landed my father stepped foward to speak. My parents greeted him and then he spoke. "Why have you come to us Jake Sully." All i was hoping for was that he'd let us stay here.

Instead of focusing on the conversation I glance at the boy from before. Hes already looking at me. I freeze. He slightly grinned. I look away and my eyes are pulled back to him, he looks deep into my eyes, I smile and focus back onto the real situation.

A woman who also has markings on her face is examining my whole family, she touching our tails and arms. She then lifts Kiri's hand to reveal her four fingers. Everyone gasps as the woman calls it 'demon blood' and that we are not true Na'vi. My dad argues back saying we can adapt to the ways of the water. The man who I now know is the chief looks at the woman.

They decide to let us stay and volunteered their son and daughter Aonung and Tsireya to teach us the ways of the Metkayina people.

So his name is Aonung. I look over at him to see him looking disguisted at my family. "Freaks." I hear his friend whisper.

Whats his problem?
