Aonungs pov

I'm horrible. She's mad at me. Forever now. I did try to apologize but I over did it. Ugh how does she do this to me.

I walk out of the hut and see Neteyam and y/n walk together towards the water. They jump in and ride their ilu off somewhere. Roxto surprises me and we start walking.

"You look like you got no sleep bro." He says concerned. I tell him to not worry. Tsireya walks past giving me a side eye. I don't thinks she's happy about what I did to Lo'ak. I hear someone call for me. It's Kiri. What does she want?

"I was wondering if you wanted to come with us to the spirit tree?" She asks politely. I nod not thinking much of it. "Okay that's good, how about you Roxto?" She says turning to him.

Roxto is frozen. He nods as well and looks away. Kiri looks confused and walks away.

Hopefully this takes my mind off of y/n.

Y/n pov

I'm waiting for the rest with Tsireya so we can go see the spirit tree. I see Aonung and Roxto heading my way. I turn away and also see Kiri, Tuk and Neteyam coming as well.

We all leave and once we get there it's already eclipse. We dive in and the spirit tree is beautiful. It's glowing purple.

I watch Kiri make the bond with the tree and so does Tsireya and Roxto. I look over at Neteyam who's next to Aonung. He's looking at me already. All of a sudden Kiri starts shaking.

I quickly swim over and detatch her hair from the tree. Bubbles come out of her mouth and Neteyam helps me carry her to the surface.

Neteyam lays her on his lap and he starts doing mouth to mouth. "KIRI!" I yell worried for my sister. "Is she breathing?" Roxto says very worried. Kiri starts coughing and we hurry back to the village.

Once we get there I yell out to Lo'ak to get Mother and Father.

When they get there, Father carries her back to the hut and contacts Norm for help. I sit next to Kiri's unconscious body with my hand on her forehead. "Please Great Mother, please." I beg hoping Kiri is okay.

I start dosing off and I see someone walk in. Aonung?

Aonungs pov

I walk into the hut and see y/n falling asleep. I carefully lift her up and carry her to the corner of the hut. I gently place her there and sit next to her. "I'm sorry y/n." I whisper.

She suddenly opens her eyes just a bit and whispers "Aonung..." I watch what she does and she just falls back asleep.

I look outside and see Neteyam looking at me and what I was doing. I feel like that was my cue to get up so I did and walked out. I passed Neteyam who was smiling and I just kept walking.

When I get back to the hut I see Tsireya already sleeping. I sit next to her and close my eyes. I decided then that I felt something towards that forest girl.

I gaze outside at the water and fish glowing and swimming around. It was beautiful.
