Aonungs pov
I wake up to no one in the hut. I walk outside and Tsireya is talking to Lo'ak and Neteyam. I see y/n walking alone, she looks worried.
I jog towards her and suprisingly she doesnt walk away. "Y/n I wanted to apologize." I say while she still doesnt look at me. Shes silent for a while and then she stops. "I know, I heard you last night." she says while looking down.
I blush, I thought she didnt hear me. She looks up at me and smiles. "I forgive you Aonung." She looked so innocent and calm. I smirk. "I actually li-" I was interupted when Neteyam calls for y/n. "KIRI'S AWAKE!" He calls.
She runs off and I quickly follow. Kiri is still on the floor crying. Y/n is crying as well. "Thank you great mother." she whispers. While everyone comforts Kiri I stand outside with Neteyam.
"You have something with my sister?" He asks. I blush. This is definitely about what happened last night. "No, not really." I finally answer. He nudges me. I scoff. How could I possibly tell him how I felt.
We walk to the edge and jump in. We swim around and talk about our lives. Neteyam was a great person to talk to.

Once Kiri settles down I walk outside and see Aonung and Neteyam hanging out. All of a sudden theres a loud sound. I look around and see people jumping into the water.
Tsireya is riding her ilu around. "Everyone come, our brothers and sisters have returned!" All the people get excited and quickly jump out and ride their ilus towards the 'tulkun'. I grab Kiri and Tuk from inside and we head off.
Once we get there everyones gliding around and the tulkun are bursting out of the water and spinning. I smile at this. Its amazing.
I see Aonung with what is probably his spirit brother and he signs to him something that I cannot make out. I continue looking around and admiring the bond between the Metkayina people and the tulkun.
I start feeling tired and I head back. When I arrive back at the hut I start feeling dizzy. I lay down and my breathing starts becoming out of whack. My head is spinning and I try to get back up but when I walk out my knees give up on me and I fall into the water.
I slowly sink deeper not having any strength to swim back up. I cant control my breathing and I run out of oxygen. I start to close my eyes but then I see someone dive into the water. Aonung?
I pass out.

I quickly jump in. I have to save her. I swim faster then ever before. Once I reach her I grab her arm and wrap it around my neck. I paddle to the surface and got her to shore. She was unconscious.
I check her pulse and start doing mouth to mouth. After a few times she doesnt wake up. I yell for Jake and Neteyam and look at y/n. She then starts coughing out water. I feel so relieved.
"Aonung?" She says struggling to breathe. "You're alright now, I've got you." I sit her up and she takes deep breaths in and out.
Neteyam and Jake are running towards us and kneel down to examine y/n. "What happened Aonung?" Neteyam asks. "She was drowning and I saved her." I said handing her to Jake. "Thank you." Jake says bowing his head and kissing her on the forehead.
"Your okay now babygirl." He holds her tightly while everyone rushes towards us. Neytiri hugs her daughter and checks her for injuries. I get up and start to walk off.
"Aonung!" Someone yells. I turn around and y/n hugs me tightly. She stays like that for a long time if you call 6 seconds long. "Thank you, for saving me." I hug her back and then I let go. "Its nothing, it comes natural." I smile. She laughs and walks back to her family.
I head back to my hut and tell my father and mother what happened. They didnt seem too happy though. I found out why.
Sky people were looking for Jake. They were coming after the Sullys. Y/n.
'Protect her.'
