Y/n pov

I'm woken by some loud noise. Theres people yelling. I quickly go outside to see what has happened. I push through the large crowd and see Chief Tonowari and the tsahik yelling at my father.

"MY SPIRIT SISTER AND HER BABY HAVE BEEN MURDERED BY SKY PEOPLE!" Everyone yells and I see Aonung as well. He looks like he's about to kill someone. In fact, everyone looks like theyre going to kill someone. I look behind Aonung and see Tsireya crying.

"THIS WAR HAS COME TO US!" Tonowari shouts. All the people start making faces, some stick their tongue out like Aonung and some shout. My dad all of a sudden silences them by holding up one of the sky peoples spear things.

"You go, and tell the tulkun, if they're by one of these.. they're marked for death." He says. Everyone is quiet and Ronal finally speaks. "Go! Tell the tulkun!" and everyone runs off.

Neteyam walks in a different direction and I follow him. Soon enough I spot Lo'ak about to leave on his ilu. As I get closer they're already arguing. "No, you got to keep your skxawng ass here." Neteyam says trying to get him to stay.

"He's outcast! There's nobody to warn him but me." Lo'ak says. Who's outcast? "Lo'ak. Stay here, you cannot go alone." I look at Neteyam who agrees with me. Lo'ak shakes his head. "Lo'ak!" Tsireya calls out while Aonung and Roxto follows.

Lo'ak turns away and jumps in. Neteyam follows and before I'm able to go in as well Aonung stops me. "What are you doing?" I ask trying break away. "Stay here. It's not safe." He says thinking I'd actually listen to him. I fling my arm back away from him. "Are you my mother? I'm going." He sighs in defeat and we leave.

We catch up with the others and see a tulkun that's been hit by one of the spears. Lo'ak is desparately trying to pull it off. I quickly go and help him and so do the others.

"Pull!" They all say and we heave but it wont come off. Then Tuk and Kiri appear and I start to worry. They shouldn't be here. "Kiri why did you bring Tuk here?" She looks ashamed but still tries to help.

Neteyam attches a rope to his ilu's neck and throws the other end to Aonung who ties it around the spear thing. I look around and spot the sky peoples ship heading towards us. "NETEYAM!" I yell and he turns around. We all pull harder and harder while the ship gets closer.

At last it comes off and the tulkun quickly dives away. The ship gets closer and we all dive back in and hide among the long seaweed.

Its silent for a while. Then these machine things shaped like spiders dive in and chase after us. We all scramble and I stay with Tuk and Kiri. We try to loose them through the seaweed but we cant. I go in one direction and distract the machine. I look around and see that they're only chasing after my family.

I finally loose the machine and carefully look for the rest. Tsireya is knocked off her ilu and Lo'ak saves her before she gets grabbed. I follow them into this flower shaped thing which has space wd can beathe in from inside. "Where is Aonung and Roxto?" I ask concerned about they're safety.

I go back out and search for Kiri and Tuk while Tsireya and Lo'ak look for the boys. I bump into the girls and we go back to find the boys. All of a sudden Lo'ak comes swimming by himself. 'Where is Tsireya?' I sign to him. He signs back that they split up.

Out of no where a net captures me, Kiri and Tuk and Lo'ak tries cutting the net. The net pulls us out of the water and Lo'ak desparately tries to hang on and cut it. "LO'AK LET GO! THEY CANT GET YOU TOO!" He gives me a look and lets go. We are put on the ship and the blue freak Quaritch cuffs us to the rails.

"Let them go." I beg him. "They've done nothing, don't hurt them." Quaritch smirks, I don't think he'll let them go. I look over at the horizon and see the Metkayina people making they're way towards the ship with my dad leaving them.

Quaritch contacts my dad telling him to hand himself over or they all die. "NO DAD PLEASE." I yell hoping he can hear me. Quaritch kicks me in the stomach and I fall to the ground. "Shut your piehole up or I'll see to it you never see your family again." He says. I groan in pain and Tuk starts crying.

"Don't cry Tuk, you'll be okay."
