Kat

Believe me when I say this, no one understands me. You might be thinking something along the lines of: "I don't even know what the hell she's talking about, I don't even know her story". Trust me, it would be better if I not tell you what has happened to me. But the only way you'll understand my current situation is if tell you my past... the whole entire thing.

Now my past is a dark and dreary one, clearly. So we'll start from the day i started highschool:

"Kat, come down here please", My mother calls from the kitchen. I run down the stairs and stop dead in the center of the doorway.

"Ya mom? We really need to get going, so can we skip the pep talk and just go?" Her eyes lit up when she saw me. She walked over and took me in her arms, the feeling made me believe she would never let me go.

"My beautiful baby girl," I thought she was about to cry

"Honey, leave Kat alone. You're scaring the poor girl," My dad said chuckling at my mothers reaction to my first day of high school.

"Come on mom, let's go or i'm gonna be late," I grabbed my backpack, gave my dad a kiss on the cheek, and ran out to the car.

After my mom dropped me off, the day went by pretty normal. I got to see my friend, Ally, and we ate lunch on the grass in the court yard.

"I'm so happy we have all our classes together" Ally said smiling.

"I know, why did your parents make you go to Australia with them? It made the summer go by oh so very slowly." I said taking a sip of my Mountain Dew.

"I don't know, but my gram was pretty ill and they didn't want to leave me with my goon of a brother to take care of me."

Oh yes, mr. Harry Styles. I've had a crush on him since Ally and I were in kindergarten. The green eyed, curly haired, tall, muscular, most beautiful human being I have ever witnessed. I would so date him, if he weren't 18 that is.

"Al, how is your brother?" I asked trying not to seem so creepy about the whole thing.

"He's Harry, same old same old i guess," The bell rang and off we were to our last class.

The school year went on like that for months and months, until around my birthday, May 8th. Mom dropped me off like normal and school was normal, but after school... well it wasn't so normal.

"Hey Kat, your mom isn't here yet?" My English teacher, Mr. Bick, asked me.

"No, she's twenty minutes late," I say looking around.

"Maybe she's just at the store or something," he said and I nod as if agreeing with him.
