Chapter 2: *The School*

As I stepped out of the bus with Alex, we immediately started walking to the school.

"So Alex. How is the school actually structured?" I asked him.

"Well, the School has 3 Buildings. When you go through the main entrance, you will be in the first building. In the first building are all the lockers and the secretary's office. As well as the principal's office. In the left Building are all the classrooms. And in the right building you will find a swimming hall for swimming lessons and a gym."

"Great, another swimming hall. If the roof also collapses, I guess it's because of me." I said to him.

The next few second's nobody said anything. I wasn't even sure if he understood my joke completely.

"What do you mean with that?" He then asked me all of a sudden. Well, I should have known that he will not understand my joke. But to my own surprise, I smiled and laughed a bit.

"You still remember what I told you on the bus 20 minutes ago? In my old school, the roof of the swimming hall collapsed. And now you only need to connect the dots." He then suddenly began to laugh as well.

"I should tell better jokes. Maybe then you can understand them better." Well, that joke was awful, so no wonder that he didn't understand it. Note to myself. Tell better jokes.

"No no no, all good. I just need more time than others to understand jokes. So please don't think too much about it." He said to me.

While we were talking, I saw that we were getting really close to the school gates. We walked along the paths leading to the main entrance of the school and went inside. The school looked really modern inside. With nothing too fancy on the walls or the ground. It was just modern and simple. Oh and literally every wall was white. Like every wall.

"Well, I need to get going. Because I need to get to my classroom." He told me from behind.

I turned around and saw that he was ready to leave.

"Wait. I don't even know where my classroom is. Can you maybe also help me with that?" I asked him and looked at him desperate.

"Nah, you will be ok from now on. Just go straight ahead, and you will meet Ms. Denver in the Secretary's Office. She probably already knows what your name is and what you look like. So don't worry. We will see each other when the bell rings for lunch break." As he was done telling me all this, he turned around and ran off.

How the hell will Ms. Denver know what I look like and what my name is? I mean, after I introduced myself, she will know for sure.

I immediately walked down the Hallway to the Secretary's office. It took about 2 Minutes to get there. I went inside and to my surprise there was a Giraffe sitting at a Desk in the Corner. There were also some Shelves at the other site. It was a small Room, but for it's size it looked really nice and organized. As I approached the Giraffe, she noticed me and looked at me curious.

"Your name is Bryan Anderson. You're also 17 Years old. The Classroom will be in Room 1.03. That is one floor above you. Here is your Student ID Card. And that should be all your Questions. Am I right?" she said and handed me my Student ID Card.

"How do you know my name? And what is the Student ID Card for?" I asked her, completely confused about what just happened, right now. How the hell does she know my Name and my Age?

"I know stuff about everyone that's here. Most people react like that, so don't worry. The Card is mostly here, so people can recognize you, and it is also needed so you can go to the Swimming Hall and the Gym. But I think you should get going now. The Bell will ring in 5 Minutes. Don't want to be late on your first day." she then started to go through some Papers that were lying on her Desk.

"Huh?" was the only thing that I could say. I never saw in my entire life such a Person. How does she know everything? Ok Bryan. Stop to worry about stuff like that. Now you need to get going.

I left the Room and went to my Classroom. Nothing much happened after that. The Teacher introduced me to the class and I took a Seat and listened to the Lessons for the next 2 Hours. As the Bell then finally rang for the Lunch Break, I made my way to the Cafeteria. Where Alex would be waiting for me.
