Nicole had been giving Sam cooking lessons for a week. She thought he was a really nice person. It was a nice day so she decided to go to the park. She was sitting by a bench. About a hall hour after being there she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. She looked up and saw Sam.

"Hi." She said.

"Hi." He knelt down to be at eye level with her. "What's up?"

"Just enjoying the day." "Skating?" She asked noticing his skateboard.

"Yeah." "I'm about to leave to go home and make dinner."

"We could go out for a pizza."

"I'll go out for a pizza with you but this isn't a date."

"Ok."

The got in her car. She rolled her chair right in it.

"How does this thing move?" Sam asked.

"The controls are on the steering wheel."

"Cool."

They were at the pizza place.

"I have a question Nicole." Sam said. "How come um...

"The chair?"

"Yeah."

"I have cerebral palsy." "My leg muscles don't work properly."

"Can you walk?"

"A little but it's very painful."

Nicole gave Sam a ride home. They'd just pulled up outside his house.

"Well for not a date, this was fun." Sam said.

"I'll see you Friday."

"Since it wasn't a date I wonder I should do this." He kissed her but she didn't kiss him back. She looked surprised. "Bye."

"Bye." He got out of the car. The main reason she didn't kiss him back was because she didn't know how. That was her first kiss.
