Chapter 6: Touch Me

Maxs POV:

After the whole incident at the house me El and Will decided to leave. I also think that Lucas and Dustin left as well, not to sure about the older kids though.

Me and El were sitting in her room on her bed talking about what had happened since everybody had known, it was kind of the drama of the group tonight.

"I can't believe he kissed him." El said sadly. I looked at her confused. Not remember that she was dating the person her brother just kissed, and then I remember.

"Yeah, I mean. I understand why but he shouldn't have, you know?" I say. She nods her head. I look at her for a moment, admiring her features. Just looking at all of her and her beauty.

"How do you feel about it?" She asks out of nowhere.

"How do I feel about what?" I say back to her confused. She looks at me worried and continues.

"Boys liking boys." She said. I was confused on why she would ask me this but I decided to go along with it.

"Well I think it's just the same as everybody liking everybody else, just maybe a little more complicated in the worlds point of view." I say. She looks at me confused and looks away, almost ashamed for some reason.

"Max?" She asks me.

"Yeah El?" I say as soft as she did.

"Can girls...like other, girls?" She asks quietly. Almost to quietly. My heart skipped a whole ass beat when she asked me this.

"I mean, yeah they can. That's also the same as everything else." I say in response. She nods her head while still locking down at her lap, fidgeting with her fingers.

A few minutes goes by with nothing being said.

"Max?" She asks me again in the same tone as before.

"Yeah?"

"How do I know if I like a girl?" She asks so casually.

Holy shit holy shit holy shit, what the fuck is that supposed to mean. Like what?

"I mean the same way that you would know if you liked a boy. Do you get happy when you are around them, do they make you feel worth it, make you...feel things." I say.

"Feel things?" She says confused. It came off as more of a question. I nod my head yes. "Feel things where?"

I take my hand and point to her lower stomach.

"Feel things there." I say looking back up into her eyes. She looks at me like she had just solved the words greatest mystery of all time.

"Max Max Max." She says trying to test something.

"What?"

"Touch me." She says so normally.

"Huh?"

"Touch me Max." She says. I look her in the eyes and stare at her confused. When I realize that she is being serious my eyes quickly jump down to her lips and back up to her eyes. "Touch me Max. Please." She says right before I gentle place my hand on her cheek and bring her into a soft kiss.
