Vanessa Williams.
Gorgeous young lady. Black wavy hair, gorgeous green eyes. A slim body. She's exotic.
Billie wants to have her, but that was simply impossible because Vanessa likes boys.
"Do you think he likes me back?" she asks, referring to a skinny boy named Jake Shane.
She has awful taste, and Billie never forgets to tell her. "He's ugly. You're gorgeous." she responds.
Vanessa hits her arm. "He's not. You just love to flatter me."
Billie almost rolled her eyes. Vanessa wouldn't know the difference between flatter and flirt if it fell from the heavens and crashed into her skull.
She's still young. Billie remembers being 17, and thinking everything was all so black and white. At 20 you learn that people don't simply 'flatter' you for nothing. Especially if it's frequent.
Vanessa sighed against her car seat. "I don't want to go to school."
"The last time I let you skip you told your mom." Billie reminds her.
She's not mad. She found it cute that Vanessa was such a good girl. Not that the thought of deviating that persona didn't excite Billie. She just loved her innocence, for now.
Their parents were best friends growing up as well. Except, Billie's mother died, and her father just fled. Vanessa's parents gladly took Billie in, and she was like a daughter in the household.
She wasn't treated any differently from Vanessa. In fact, one would say she was treated special. They bought her the car she wanted for her 16th birthday, while Vanessa got cute little sweet Sixteen instead. Not that she wasn't grateful. The party was huge, and must've cost them a lot. Not as much as a matte black dodge, but a lot of money none the less.
Yet the girl they considered a daughter didn't see their child as a sister. Billie felt bad sometimes when she fantasized about Vanessa. She felt guilty for not having the level of innocence Vanessa had.
"So what? She was mad at me, not you. She's never mad at you. It's like you put a charm on her or something." Vanessa pouted.
"That's because my mother died and she feels bad for me. You want sympathy, kill your mother."
Vanessa gasped. "Then we'd both be orphans."
"I'm not an orphan." Billie frowned.
Or atleast she's never felt like one. She was twelve when her mother died, and Gabby has always felt like a second mother even when Maggie was alive. Christian has always felt like a second father as well. And being treated special only made her feel even more like their real daughter.
If they were ever rude to her, she would've moved a long time ago. But here she is at 20, still living under their roof with no plans to leave any time soon.
Ofcourse she works a job at a local taco bell, as well as receives an allowance from them. Both sources of income could afford her a nice apartment. But Billie just isn't ready to say goodbye.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way-"
"I know, baby. Don't sweat it." Billie unlocks the doors to the car. "You should get in there." she gestures at the school building. "You're already late."
"I could just skip."
Billie gives her a stern glare. "Nessa."
She groans. "Fine." Then opens the door of the car.
"Where's my kiss?" Billie asks.
With an attitude, and a roll of her green eyes, Vanessa turns back and leans in, placing a soft peck on Billie's lips.
It made Billie's heart erupt with emotion each time. She craved more of Vanessa's lips each time. To just hold her face and connect their lips for a long, traditional french kiss. Billie wanted to taste her mouth, to feel her breath against her skin. She wanted her so bad.
"Bye." Vanessa called, before shutting the door.
It was that small bang sound that returned Billie into reality, and she let out a huff.
Her crush on Vanessa started only recently. Well, Billie realized it only recently.
At first she thought thinking Vanessa was gorgeous was just pure, sisterly admiration. She didn't find it suspicious how she thought it often, or admired her to the point where she's thinking about her beauty even when she isn't present in front of her.
She used to think wanting their hugs to be longer, and requesting more kisses was just her love language becoming more prominent. Until she realized she didn't request more hugs from Christian or Gabby.
Billie figured out that it was more than what she thought when Vanessa came to sleep next to her one night.
"It's cold, and mom says the AC is broken." Vanessa had murmured, cuddling up to Billie.
Within the course of the night, she twisted and turned until her back was against Billie's front.
Billie remembers the way Vanessa took her arms during her sleep and placed Billie's on her waist, and hers over it. She remembers how hot she began to feel despite the cold night of winter.
She remembers how she subconsciously moved her hands to go beneath Vanessa's shirt, under the guise of a search for warmth. She remembers how her hands somehow found her breasts, making herself breathe a little deeper.
Billie could never forget how her cock stood in her boxers in excitement, and pressed against Vanessa's behind.
Vanessa had let out a small hum in her sleep, and Billie remembers how her hips helplessly bucked against her.
At that moment she knew it was a crush. She had gotten up out of bed, despite the cold winter, and slept on the couch instead.
She felt disgusting for ever thinking of Vanessa that way, and had vowed never to do so again.
But it was getting harder to fight the feelings away. With each passing day, her attraction grows stronger. And everytime Vanessa announces that she has a crush on another guy, Billie boils with jealousy.
An idiot named Leon was her first kiss. Billie despises the story even today.
"He told me to meet him by the bleachers. He was so cute, I wanted him to marry me." Vanessa had squeeled that day when she returned from school.
It was just a few months ago, and she's had about five more crushes after him that she hasn't kissed, luckily.
That was Billie's doing. Each time it seemed like Vanessa was getting close with those boys, Billie would say "focus on school".
Billie's phone rang, as she was driving out the school.
"Hello."
"Hey, baby. Where are you?"
Delilah, Billie's girlfriend and colleague.
To be fair, she's only dating her because she thought it was the right thing to do instead of fantasizing about her best friend. That is if she should call Vanessa that. She doesn't consider her a sister, that's for sure.
"I'm on my way there. I was just dropping Nessa off to school."
"Well, you better hurry. Larry says he's tired of you being late every Monday. Plus, I can't keep covering for you."
Vanessa was difficult every Monday. She would request they park outside the school and wait a while so she could regain all the energy she lost during a weekend. It was like a ritual.
Billie didn't care that it made her late. She found it cute. Plus it was an excuse to spend more time with her.
"Tell him to calm his balls. I'm on my way."
Delilah laughed. Those would be the exact words Billie says to her manager when he asks why she was late again.
Unfortunately, Larry was her friend as well as her manager. And working with friends always left loads of room for a bit of disrespect.
