"Oh my God, she's beautiful!" Billie exclaimed.

The 'she' she was referring to was a large, square shaped pool, glistening and sparkling clear water, the reflection of the moon flowing on its surface.

Vanessa was next to her, with her arms crossed as she stared at the pool as well, not with admiration but with envy.

"More beautiful than me?" she questioned.

Billie smiled, turning to her, and swiftly grabbing her. She wrapped her arms around her waist. "Way, way, waaay more beautiful than you." then she leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips.

Vanessa pulled away, a frown on her brows. "Why don't you go kiss the pool then?"

"I will. But you first.."

Before she could register, she was swung towards the water, flying over and then landing with a giant splash. Billie followed immediately after her, splashing beside her, then ascending from the water with a playful smile.

The girl beside her wasn't pleased. Her wet hair covered some of her face, but not the cute pout her lips formed.

Billie grabbed her by the waist, pressing their bodies together beneath the deep water that would've drowned them if they were a few inches shorter.

"I love seeing you wet. It's so sexy." she muttered.

Vanessa hid her smile, turning her body from Billie, her lips clittering as the wind blew by. The water was cold, and Billie's hands felt colder as they touched her waist beneath the water, arms wrapping around her.

The view of palm tree, and the beach further away, was gorgeous beneath the moonlight, bringing about a hint of romance.

Billie rested her head on Vanessa's shoulder, placing a kiss on it.

"I wanna stay like this forever." Vanessa mumbled, leaning her head back against Billie.

"I don't mind. We'll get pneumonia together and die. So romantic. Like Romeo and Juliet."

"I love that story." she shut her eyes.

The cold didn't much affect her. She wondered if that was what love did. If it numbed pain the way it blurred vision and deafened sound.

"We'll get married someday right?" Vanessa asked. "And we'll have our own home, so we don't have to sneak out anymore."

Billie nodded. "Why wait? Let's get married right now."

Vanessa pinched her arm beneath the water, earning a tiny squeek. "I'm serious." she scolded.

"I know, baby." she held her closer, her hands moving down to her stomach. "I wanna have kids together. Like thousands of them."

Vanessa tensed, instinctively pushing the hands away. She stepped away from her. "We should get in." she said monotously.

Billie frowned. "What's wrong."

"Just cold." she mumbled as she swam away to the edge.

She didn't pry, and they head back inside.

Vanessa didn't speak for a while after that, and Billie wondered if she had said anything wrong.

They went back inside and had a shower then got into sleeping clothes. It was too late to go out so they decided they would order a pizza and watch a movie.

Billie was a horror fanatic while Vanessa enjoyed chick flicks, so picking a movie they both likes was an obstacle on its own.

"How about the purge?" Billie suggested.
