When Gabby and Christian returned home, they didn't suspect a thing. Neither questioned why their daughter suddenly found the need to wear short skirts and shorts around the house.
Christian was only thankful that she was dressed that way at home and not out at school or in public. Little did he know, his daughter cared very little for the dumb young boys out there.
She would grin in satisfaction as Billie's eyes would follow her until she disappeared out of the room. She would push her chest out, or teasingly run her hands through her thighs or stomach as Billie's eyes unclothed her.
Vanessa would teasingly brush passed Billie, running a cautious hand through her crotch, just to hear the sound of her restrained growls.
Vanessa loves her parents, but she hated having them home everyday. She hasn't had time alone with Billie since they set foot back. What was worst was that she had to bear daily visits from Delilah and pretend to enjoy her company the way she used to.
She hated having her over. Billie wouldn't pay as much attention to her. She hated the way Delilah seemed to play the perfect in law. She helped Gabby with the cooking, she laughed at Chris's dad jokes, and she complimented Vanessa every chance she gets.
"Nice shoes." "Your hair is gorgeous!" "You ate with that outfit!"
Vanessa almost gagged at every single one. She can't believe she once liked her.
On this spectacular night, Delilah was joining them for dinner. Vanessa sat at the table while she watched her help set up.
"Miss William, you make the best casserole, I swear." Delilah gushed, placing a plate in front of Vanessa.
Gabby giggled, waving a dismissive hand at her. "Oh please. I use a cookbook. It's not my recipe. Although, I did add a few of my own special ingredients." she secretly bragged.
Vanessa rolled her eyes, waiting for the time the dinner would come to an end.
Gabby called for Billie and Chris. The two were upstairs playing Billie's Xbox.
They came back down chattering and laughing as they sat down in front of their food, Billie pressed a kiss against Delilah's forehead as she sat.
"You two look like you had fun." Gabby smiled.
"I wouldn't call it fun. Billie cheated." said Chris.
"I didn't. He's just a sore loser."
Gabby places a hand on her husband's before he could retort. "I hate to break it to you, honey, but you are a sore loser."
He huffs defeatedly.
"I mean, I don't know Mr Williams, Billie does have the tendency to cheat." Delilah interjects.
"No no, Delilah, don't you defend Chris. I know how he can be."
"And I know Billie. She's really competitive and will do anything to win."
Vanessa lost her appetite just watching the playful argument.
Billie looked over at her, her smile fading as she takes note of Vanessa's displeased expression.
Before she could ask anything, Chris called her.
"Two days until you have your own place. How do you feel?" he asks.
Delilah's eyebrows frown in confusion. "You didn't tell me you were moving out"
"It was sort of a hasty decision." Billie says.
"And as I said, you don't have to leave if you don't feel ready." Gabby assured.
"But you seem pretty ready to me." Chris winked.
