The six ships flew out of the hangar when green turbolaser fire began flying down from the sky toward them. They managed to get well enough away by the time the first round hit the hangar. They began to ascend through the atmosphere. Once they exited the clouds, they saw a triangular ship firing on where they had launched from.
"Dank Farrik, they have a stardestroyer," Katsuki said into the comms.
Several ships flew towards them from underneath it.
"Alright, everyone, shields to double front. Accelerate to attack speed. Keep Shitty Hair and Horns covered until the droids can calculate the jump into hyperspace!"
"Just a thought, but isn't Kaloria a bit removed from Mandalore?" Eijiro asked.
"That's the idea. When Deathwatch was gaining ground on Concordia, my parents relocated our clan so they wouldn't be affected by whatever the Hell they did."
"Same for my parents. When Deathwatch was found to be quite large at the start of the Clone Wars, we scraped together what we had and moved to Nevarro," Ochako said.
"Well, either way, Mei says she and Iida need a couple minutes to calculate a path that can throw them off of our trail," Mina said.
"You heard them, keep them safe for a couple minutes, and give these bastards hell!" Katsuki said.
The wings on all of the ships began spinning. To Izuku and Ochako, the ships that began flying toward them were very advanced models of the V-wing. Camie called them TIE fighters, when she stated there were around a dozen of them. Izuku felt a familiar dark presence leave the stardestroyer. A TIE Interceptor flew towards them behind the main force of fighters.
"He's coming. Leave him to me," he said.
"The Tenth Brother?" Ochako asked.
"Yeah."
They began firing their cannons into the incoming TIES, immediately destroying three. Many green blaster bolts deflected off of Izuku's front shields before he dove, quickly diverting shields to rear. He kept leading him on a wild chase as green lasers followed him. On multiple occasions, he would deliberately tale a fighter and bank, pull up, or dive. When he did, the green lasers began riddling the fighter he was "chasing," and he would sense bitter frustration from the Interceptor.
It went like this for a couple of minutes until he finally received word that Mei and Iida had calculated the route out. Izuku was about to head toward the jump point, but Tenko was still on his tail and not letting up.
"Guys, I want to join up, but I can't shake the Tenth Brother," he said.
"Deku, I have a plan," Ochako said, "bring him to .83. And when I say 'now,' bank left."
Izuku hit his thrusters, and the ship shot forward before diving, the TIE Interceptor following. His shields were blinking red. If Ochako didn't hurry up, he'd be vaporized. He arrived and kept looping, waiting for Ochako's word.
"Ready..." He heard.
He saw her ship incoming. He leveled off and flew straight at her.
"And..."
She adjusted course to where they were charging each other. Her wings were spinning, and the tips with the cannons were glowing red.
"NOW!"
Izuku banked hard left, and Ochako fired. The lasers tore off one of the Interceptor's wings. Izuku and Ochako joined everyone at the jump point, and they all jumped into hyperspace. Everyone breathed out sighs of relief. A few minutes in, Denki spoke up.
