Ochako began dreaming again after Izuku had placed the light peck on her lips. She could tell where she was by the smoke that began filling her vision. Blaster fire began ringing out, deafening. Her head bolted from side to side, looking for them. As the weeks had gone, her nightmares had evolved and changed a bit. Rather than being helpless to stop her parents from leaving to die, now they were always captured and executed.
"Ochako! Help us!" She heard.
Her eyes finally landed on them. They were on their knees, hands on their heads. Clones were around them, blasters held at the heads. She reached for her blasters and, like normal in these nightmares, couldn't find them. She took one step forward, ready to run and try to save them again. But she stopped herself. She took a step back, tears threatening her eyes.
"Mom... Dad..." She whispered to herself, "I miss you guys so kriffing much. I wish you guys were here. Not a day goes by that I don't miss you. You will always be with me."
She forced herself to turn around, tears flowing freely from her eyes.
"But I have to stop trying to dream I could change the past." She choked out, walking away.
She slowly went from a walk to a jog to a run to a sprint.
"Even if I won't be able to live with myself for this," she continued to herself.
"We love you, Ochako. Live," she heard them say in peace.
She heard the blasters ring out in the distance. Then, the scene around her began to morph into somewhere else. A familiar location. She suddenly found herself in a docking bay. In front of her stood a certain individual with his head down and eyes closed.
"Oh, no. Deku..." She said to herself.
His head bolted upright with his eyes flying open. His eyes were the terrifying yellow that she saw long ago.
"Ochako. You shouldn't stand between me and the Tenth Brother. Move. Or I will cut you down," he growled.
She turned around to see if the Tenth Brother was behind her. There was no one. Her eyes widened, and she turned around quickly. He was right in her face, a malicious smile on his face.
"Made you look."
He ignited one of his blades. Rather than the striking pink or brilliant green, it was a blood red. He quickly slashed up. It caught her on her armor, and she back flipped away.
"Deku! This isn't you!" She screamed.
"Isn't it, though? Do you know what losing everyone else has done to me? Do you think you're enough to replace them?" He asked.
She continuously dodged all of his attacks.
"Dodging won't do you any good. Fight!" Izuku shouted, leaping back several feet.
Ochako about asked with what, but then felt a familiar weight on her hips. She looked down and saw her blasters. She drew them and aimed at Izuku.
"Do it. Kill me and free me from the Dark Side."
Her blasters shook. She tightened her grip on them. Her fingers were hovering over the triggers.
"I... I... no. I'm not going to fight you, Deku. I love you. I will bring you back to the light."
His face contorted in rage. He leaped at her with his lightsaber drawn back. She closed her eyes, bracing for herself to wake up on feeling the impact of the blade. She didn't wake up. She didn't feel the blade. She could hear it buzzing right next to her right ear. She opened her eyes and saw that the blade was just hovering there. Izuku's face was held in a glare.
