Chapter 25

Katsuki walked over to Izuku and held out his hand for the lightsaber. Izuku looked from the deactivated lightsaber to Katsuki. He held it out and dropped it into his open hand. Katsuki bounced it in his hands, feeling the weight. He then held the lightsaber up and ignited the blades.

"Heavier than I thought," Katsuki said.

"That's what I said/thought," Ochako and Izuku said at the same time.

He went through a few basic sword stances to get a feel for the blade. He deactivated it and motioned for everyone to follow him, strapping on a jetpack as they left. As soon as he entered the throne room, he grabbed the lightsaber, ignited it, and pointed it at Jin.

"FIGHT ME NOW, YOU BASTARD!!!" Katsuki screamed.

Jin looked from the glowing blade to Katsuki and sighed.

"Do you really think a fancy glow stick is going to be able to actually stand a chance against my Beskar blade?" He asked.

He nonchalantly unholstered a blaster and shot the blade. To say everyone who wasn't with Katsuki was shocked when the blaster bolt bounced off the blade would be an understatement. Jin straightened from his lounging across the throne to sitting on it.

"Well, that's interesting. Either you have a Jedi on your little crew, or you have a Jedi hunter on your crew. More than likely, you have a Jedi. It's the kid with red and white hair, isn't it?" Jin stated.

"QUIT STALLING!!!"

Katsuki jumped at him, lightsaber drawn back, jetpack firing for him to close the distance between them rapidly. Jin grabbed his Beskar sword quickly and blocked the attack.

"WHAT DOES IT MATTER IF I HAVE A JEDI OR JEDI HUNTER?!? I HAVE A WAY TO COUNTER YOUR ABOMINABLE BLADE, SO FIGHT ME!!!" Katsuki screamed.

Jin shoved Katsuki away from him. He rocketed out of his throne, flying straight at him. He drew a blaster from his side and began firing at Katsuki. Katsuki activated one of his vambraces and an energy shield emitted from it, deflecting the blaster bolts. Using his free hand, Katsuki grabbed one of his blasters and also began firing at Jin. He rocketed into the air and began chasing after him, aiming for the jetpack. Jin quickly rolled over and shot flames at Katsuki from one of his vambraces. Katsuki reeled back to avoid the flames.

"You're persistent, I'll give you that. And it's annoying," Jin said, seeing Katsuki right himself and continue firing at him.

"What can I say, I'm my mother's son," Katsuki said.

He fired a pair of miniature missiles into Jin's flight path, which knocked him into the ground. He flew right at him, deflecting blaster bolts off his shield, lightsaber drawn back. Jin drew the Beskar sword, and the blades crashed. Katsuki pulled his blade out of the lock and began striking hard at Jin. He, in turn, blocked and countered. After a series of strikes being blocked, Katsuki jumped back as Jin delivered a horizontal slash that would have cut him in half. Katsuki turned his jetpack on and shot flames at Jin from his vambraces. He also jumped back and turned on his jetpack. They just hovered ten feet apart, trying to gauge what the other would do.

"I guess it's time I got serious," Jin said.

He immediately rocketed forward and right as he was three feet in front of Katsuki, he quickly brought the sword up in a vertical slash. Katsuki just managed to block it, but his helmet flew off. The tip of the sword only barely grazed Katsuki between his eyebrows. The lightsaber fell out of his hands and was caught by Izuku.

"Okay then..." Katsuki growled. He flexed his hands and balled them into fists. His vambraces began mechanically changing to where they looked like they were basically heavy repeating blasters on his wrists, "No more messing around."
