Alhaitham - You would wait for him on the couch and once you got lonely you decided to get a stuffed animal to comfort you while waiting - Used to it by now since it would happen pretty often - Thinks it's super cute every single time - Would carry you up to the shared room then sleep - Backhugs you after getting into bed - In the morning you would realize what happened and get extremely flustered and embarrassed - He'd wake up soon after and lecture you to not do it again and tiering yourself to wait for him ————————— The second Alhaitham opens the door he's met with a familiar sight of you asleep on the couch holding your favourite stuffed animal. He sighs as he makes his way over to you and gently picks you up, firmly grasping you to make sure you don't fall and makes his way upstairs. Laying you on the bed, he went to wash up and change into more comfortable clothes and got in bed with you. He shimmied his way through the covers and rested his chest against your back, arms draped over you with the stuffed animal still held in your embrace.
"Goodnight my love." He whispered as he kissed the back of your neck.
In the morning, (Y/N) woke up to the feeling of a pair of firm arms around their waist and something in their arms. When they looked down, they saw the stuffed animal they got last night as well as Alahitam's hands on your stomach. (Y/N) quickly discarded the stuffed animal to the side as they turned around and snuggled into Alhaitham's chest.
"Hmm? Awake already?" He asked.
(Y/N) didn't reply as they simply pressed their face further into his chest.
"You know... you shouldn't be waiting for me. You know I come back late and it puts a strain on your body if you force it to stay awake." He began.
(Y/N) mentally prepared themselves for the early morning lecture Alhaitham routinely gave whenever he'd spot them falling asleep on the couch waiting for him.
Well at least (Y/N) gets to listen while being cuddled. —————————
