just a regular Monday

I've never had the best relationship with my parents I don't know exactly what love is .

It was 8:30 when costumers started walking in the coffee shop,
at the far corner of the shop you would find Thalia the coffee shop owner sitting there reading one of her favorite books 'last night at the paragraph club' she was now on chapter 97 when lily the main character and her love interest kath or Kathleen walk into a shop called Fong Fongs candy striped awnings, while she was reading she grabbed her small tea cup that contained her favorite tea orange tea, she had noticed that there wasn't any left.

Thalia sets her book on the table in front of her remembering to keep the chapter she had read in mind she grabbed her tea cup and walked to the counter

After ordering her new cup of tea she started walking looking at the cup carefully not to spill it but suddenly someone crashed into her making her spill the lukewarm tea on the other person "oh my I'm so sorry" Thalia said while the other person was looking down at their shirt "uh it's alright" the other person said and Thalia grabbed some napkins and patted down on the other woman's clothes "it's alright" the woman said again and lightly grabbed Thalia's hand "these things happen" the woman said trying not to let Thalia feel bad "we'll at least take my jacket so that you won't get cold" Thalia said removing her jacket and handing it to her new York was chilly at these times especially if you just had a cup of tea splashed on you "no it's alright" the woman said refusing "no, please I feel bad for spilling the tea on you" Thalia said and lifts her hand lightly to tell the woman to take it "thank you" the woman said after taking the Jacket reluctantly "what we're you going to order, I can have it made for you" Thalia said pointing at the counter "I was going to order a iced coffee and a latte" the woman said after a while "okay iced coffee and latte coming right up" Thalia says and walks behind the counter which surprises the woman "to go?" Thalia asks and the woman nods

"A iced coffee and latte" Thalia says but before she gives the woman the coffee's she writes something on it "here you go" Thalia says and hands the woman her coffee's "thank you" the woman says and waves goodbye "boss what are you doing behind the counter" one of her worked asks "why can't I be behind the counter" she asks jokingly "yes of course you can but I thought that you didn't want to work today" the worker says shyly "it's alright Jace I was just joking" Thalia says chuckling lightly seeing that the boy got all shy and nervous she removes her apron and walks back to her table and back to her reading but of course she didn't forget her tea this time she lets Jace bring the tea to her she definitely didn't want to make the same mistake twice, Thalia thinks as she sits quietly reading her book
