CHAPTER 16

" WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

A man wearing a black clergy cassock has suddenly appeared in front of my office's table.

He casually slumped himself on the one-seated sofa after he put a yellow envelope on my table.

"Regalo ni mama sa 'yo," He looked at me wearing an apologizing look. "Sorry daw ngayon palang niya naibigay sayo."

I diverted my gaze at the envelope, placed above my table. Whatever shit I might see in that thing- I'm not interested at all.

" You may now leave. " I ordered using my stern voice.

But instead of following me he just crossed his arms and legs and looked at me with an accusing look. " Wow porket CEO lang, paalisin na 'ko agad." He said while slightly shaking his head.

" What else do you want from me anyway?" Tinignan ko siya habang nakaarko ang kilay.

" Wala lang , kinukumusta ka lang okay, chill. "

I scoffed and scanned his clothes. "Are you really a priest?"

" Uy curios siya," he teasingly said.

I slightly shaked my head as disapproval. " No, not at all." I just ignored his shit and continued doing my paperworks.

" Are you sure you're not curious of me?"

I ignored his nonsense remarks.

" Uy tampo yarn. Sige na sasabihin ko na. The truth is... it's just a disguised, " he proudly said.

" Oh so you're not really a priest. Sayang naman mangungumpisal sana ako sa mga kasalanan ko." I said with sarcasm.

" Oo, hindi nga ako pari , pero pwede mo naman sa 'kin ikumpisal lahat ng kasalan mo, " he retorted with a smug-face.

" No. Thanks," sabat ko.

" Well I'm here actually to recruit you to my organization. Are you interested to joined? "

I veered back my gaze on him. "No. Thanks"

He simply smiled at my reply and shrugged his shoulder. " Okay, siguro kapatid mo na lang ang i-rerecruit ko."

Without hesitation, I gave him a deadly looked.

He laughed. "Chill. I'm just kidding okay."

He's really annoying.

" You really cared for your sister, huh?"

I raised my brow and faced him with a huff. " No. I'm just concern of you."

" Wow big word." He gave me his sheepish look while clapping his hands.

I glared at him. " Will you please leave, Caej."

Kanina pa talaga ako nagtitimpi sa lalakeng 'to. If it weren't for this paperworks, he might probably dead already right now.

" Leave."

" Chill lang okay. Sige, aalis na 'ko."

He walked towards the door of my office and before he pulled the door he turned on me and his lips turned into a sheepish grin.
" Chow." He said while waving his other hand.

I sighed when I no longer see his shadow in my office.

I leaned my back on the swivel chair I'm resting and put my pen I'm holding on the table. I massage my temple to calm myself.
