Chapter 2

Sophia POV

"I want to," I told Rosalie the morning after my first night, "Stay with you guys,"

Her smile flashed, and she giggled with joy. She hugged me, and ran to tell Carlisle.

Last night I'd met my new family, and they all seemed very welcoming. Edward and his small family seemed to have other problems on their mind other than me. Which was totally cool with me.

I rolled over in my bed, the door slowly opened.

"Good morning sweetheart," It was Esme.

She had brought me a small breakfast, and a cup of animal blood.

"Morning," I smiled at her.

"Welcome to the family," She hugged me too and I smiled back at her.

This family was full of love. Even Renesmee found her mate, leaving me to be last.

"Esme, can I start school?" I asked her.

My question wasn't what she was expecting, "Sure,"

I nodded. I'd probably go to Forks or maybe even the school on the La Push Reservation because I'm related to Renesmee and apparently her mate goes there.

"We could sign you up for school with Renesmee," It was almost like she read my mind.

Which by the way apparently wasn't rare around here. Edward reads minds, Alice can tell the future, Bella is a shield, Jasper can manipulate emotions, Emmett is super strong, and Rosalie has the power of being beautiful.

"Okay," I told her.

There was commotion downstairs, Esme left to go see what it was all about.

I got up, I still was able to sleep. Human foot didn't phase me.

Carlisle is going to help me figure it out. Renesmee is half human half vampire and he suspects I am too.

Being with my family made me feel normal. I'd never fit in anywhere before and it was nice to be around people who were like me. And who loved me. Rosalie and I had an instant bond, last night I heard him talking to Rosalie about adopting me herself.

I wanted her to be my mother, and Emmett my father because they already treated me like I was theirs. I also knew this wouldn't ruin what Carlisle and Esme have with me because of the close knit family.

Alice had already laid out clothes for me on the chair by my desk. Maybe Renesmee would hang out with me.

I got dressed, walking down stairs I saw everyone in the den. Concerned faces, they all greeted me with false smiles. That's right Edward, I'm not stupid.

He chucked to himself across the room.

Wouldn't dream of it

What? That wasn't my voice, I thought to myself.

Edward was staring at me in horror.

"Carlisle," He said calmly, "She just heard my thoughts,"

Everyone directed their attention to me and I looked at my converse, being the center of attention wasn't my favorite.

"Mom, please," Renesmee was begging her mom in the kitchen.

"Not alone Renesmee, they're a danger," Bella seemed annoyed with the bugging.

"I'm his imprint mom,he would never hurt me." She tried to back herself up.

"How about you ask Emily about that?" Bella answered.
