Paul POV

The feeling of her presence consumed me. Her face permanent in my mind.

"You gonna come to Renesmees with me?" Jake asked me as we walked home.

I felt my face pull into a smile because I knew Sophia would be there. My sweet imprint.

"I'll take that stupid smile as a yes," He grumbled.

I ignored him, still happy I would see her once again.

Turning to change courses, we walked past the border. It felt weird. The only time I'd done it was training to fight for Bella who had an entire freaking army of leeches trying to kill her. And again when Bella had Renesmee while she was human. The kings of the leech world came and we almost fought. Bella had caused so many problems for us and Jake made us fight for her.

The Cullen house came clear after a while, and we knocked on the perfect white door.

Esme, the doctors wife opened it. She was nice.

"Renesmee wanted me to come. I brought Paul," Jake said awkwardly.

"Yes, of course. Come on in," Esme smiled.

I stayed quiet, as we lurked around their perfect house. Light keeled through every window, which was on every wall. For a house of vampires it was very bright and humanly.

"Paul imprinted on Sophia," We heard Renesmee in the kitchen.

My head snapped at the mention of both our names and imprint in one sentence.

"Imprint?" Sophia's beautiful voice wondered.

Jacob rushed to the kitchen with me on his tail. The blonde vampire stared daggers at me when I entered the room.

In a matter of seconds, she flew to me, using her hand to hold me at the neck. She flung me into the floor boards, I used my arm to fling her back.

"Stop!" Sophia screamed, getting in the middle of us, "What's going on?"

Her perfect face was knit with confusion, she wanted to know. But I couldn't afford that. I didn't want her to feel forced into anything so the best I could do is promise to tell her eventually.

"Don't worry about it," I told her, "Its not a big problem,"

"Not a big problem? I just got a freaking daughter and I'm not handing her away to a mutt," The blondie grabbed Sophia's arm roughly.

I growled at the touch which should've been gentle, or not at all. No one hurts my Sophia.

"Her name is Rosalie, stop calling her a blonde leech. I happen to be a 'leech' too and I don't like being called that," She used my term.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings," I apologized sincerely.

"Just don't do it again," it sounded like it pained her, her voice stiff, "Mom don't call him a mutt,"

Mom? Rosalie had a kid? Holy shit I missed a lot.

"No she didn't exactly have me. But she found me, and she's been more of a mom than anyone I've ever met besides Esme,"

Esme was cleaning up shattered glass on the floor and she looked up to smile at Sophia with loving eyes.

Rosalie was smiling at Sophia too, she was an atmosphere changer. The mood lifted and I realized Jake had left with Renesmee.

"Let's go for a walk," Sophia said walking past me as if nothing happened.

I followed her out of the room after telling Esme I was sorry about breakin whatever I broke.

"Are you going to tell me what's going on?" She finally said after walking in silence for a few moments.

"I don't know if I want to," I said, "I don't wanna rush you into anything. Or overwhelm you in anyway."

"I can take it," she said looking at me.

"I know you can," I looked up at the sky, "I just want what's best for you, and that's to wait,"

"Look at you," She became serious suddenly, "Your whole world revolves around me,"

It was clear, she knew what I was thinking she can read my mind. We both know it was true but I didn't know how to explain I didn't mind it.

"I like that my world revolves around you. You give me a purpose for living Sophia, you're the love of my life."

"You like me?" She asked surprised.

I nodded, "I have since we first made eye contact. It's called imprinting. It bonds shifters with their soul mates, both people feel it. But I'd do anything, be anything, for you."

She still seemed confused as she digested the thought.

"That's what you were keeping from me?" She asked.

"Yeah. Well basically we were meant for each other. But I didn't want to force you to be with me. I didn't want you to feel like you had to be with me. Because if you reject me, or if I see you with someone else. I'll be dead. It will physically tear me apart, mentally ill be a vegetable. It will crush me literally and I know you're too kind to do that. But I wanted you to feel at least a little normal,"

"Don't worry about me," She said, "I can figure it out on my own. Shit happens, but thanks for telling me,"

I smiled down at her, and her big brown eyes stared into mine.

The space between us became less and less. Until we were basically breathing in each other's breath, her eyes fell down to my lips. A sign she wanted me to kiss her.

So I grabbed her perfect little face in my huge hands, and gently pulled her in for a kiss. It was life changing, nothing could ever compare to it. No girl, no party or drug or drink. The adrenaline pumped through my warm veins, my excitement down there was made completely noticeable. She pulled me closer as her lips moved with mine, hips rotating as they rolled against my crotch. Driving me crazy she pulled away, kissing my cheek.

"See ya in school tomorrow," She said taking off at an inhumanly speed.

I stood in awe, my life seemed to finally be taking big turns. She felt it too, and she accepted me.

My head spun with delight and I walked back to my place. And there I fell onto my bed.

I couldn't have asked for a better love.
