Chapter 6

Sophia POV

The next day, the day after I kissed him, he didn't show up. I didn't know if it was me, or someone else and I didn't want to think about it.

He said he was in love with me, and I couldn't deny that I loved him as well.

None of the pack showed up actually, Renesmee and I were torn about what could've happened but we decided to let it go. These boys were strong, they were probably off fighting vampires and having awesome adventures.

But a day turned into a week, and I found myself yearning for him. For his lingering warm touch, and his soft voice. His sensitive lips and the feeling he gave me.

"I don't know hun," My mom comforted me, I agreed to call her mom.

It didn't feel weird, it actually made me feel loved, like she wanted me.

"I just want him to come back," I cried into my pillow.

She almost rolled her eyes, thinking she saw this coming. But I knew it was for good reasoning.

I laid in bed, my mom kissed my forehead and wished me sweet dreams.
The silence made room for my thoughts to expand. My head pounding after the thoughts.

But then the door opened, maybe Edward told my mom or dad I couldn't sleep. But the bed dipped. Warmth radiated off the body and a warm hand was set on my forehead. Lips slowly kissed mine, my eyes flew open.

He was there, in all his beauty. A smirk on his sharp face.

"Miss me?" he asked, his voice cracked like he hadn't talked in awhile.

"Where did you go?" I asked scooting over.

He climbed in my bed, wrapping an arm around my small cold body.

"Another pack was crossing our lines, we had to make sure they didn't mean harm to our people. A fight broke out, and we had to rewrite the treaty with their pack."

"Hm," I said.

"Get some sleep," He kissed my forehead.

"I love you," my brain said for me.

"I love you too," He didn't hesitate to answer.

So his deep breaths lulled me to sleep, pulling me into a dark sleep.
