Today is Zain's birthday and you better believe I'm feeling emotional . 17 whole years ago my baby was born.. when we got his diagnosis I thought that would mean he'd struggles hugely which of course he does at times but it's amazing to see how far he's come. Surprisingly Lucious seems to be more excited about Zain's birthday than the birthday boy himself. Then again that's to be expected as Zain doesn't really fuss over things such as this besides with all had to deal with Rob and his bad ass these last couple of days I swear that boy is testing my patience
Just then cookies train of thought was interrupted by her husband entering the master bedroom" is he awake yet?" Lucious asked while taking off his durag " who ?" Cookie asked not really paying attention" Zain stupid" who you calling stupid " the mother of four snapped back" no he ain't it's still early baby he'll be up soon you nothin but a big kid man " Cookie joked" hey Lucious do you think it's a good idea to throw this party ?" She asked nervously...
"He'll be fine baby I got cake .. balloons Keem's done the playlist...the only thing we gotta worry about is having a good time okay" he asked as the couple engaged in a kiss
Alright, let's jump into the Lyon family birthday celebration! Today's the day—Zain's birthday bash, and we're all here to make it epic!
Zain, , is beamin' like a superstar. It's his special day, and the family worked hard make it one to remember. The living room's decked out with balloons and streamers, and the vibe is epic

But first, we gotta bring in the birthday boy! With a chorus of cheers, Zain steps in, eyes twinklin' with excitement. The love in the room is palpable as we surround him with warm embraces.

Rob's P.O.V
" I can't help but feel like I'm too much of a burden to these guys man but today ain't about me it's about Zain. He walked in the room bearing gifts for Zain " hey what's up birthday boy " I got these for you .. wait there I gotta talk to your momma and dad don't open without me"
Since Rob had gotten into trouble at a performing arts school, earning a bad reputation he had avoided Cookie and Lucious as best he could .
Despite that, Cookie and Lucious believed in second chances and knew that the young man would be back when he felt the time was right. Unsurprisingly Rob felt the weight of guilt and wanted to apologize for his actions.
"Hey, I need to talk to you," Rob said. "I'm sorry for what I did at the school. It was stupid, and I feel really bad about it."
Cookie and Lucious listened, offering support. "We believe in second chances man we ain't perfect we all human ," Lucious said. "We're here to help you become a better person give you what your parents couldn't ... That's why myself and cookie have decided to give you that job as a security guard..remember I told you about that the day I found you on the steps of the house " Rob nodded thankful for their forgiveness
" Don't let us down, you hear?" Cookie said in her motherly tone " yes ma'am " she rubbed his arm " come on my baby needs celebrating " cookie said as she entered the living room "
" Hey y'all better have stayed away from my scotch " too late for that pop " Dre said laughing slightly"
" Cake please" Zain said happily" sure man .. hey you gotta thank miss Juanita for your cake your gonna love it" Lucious smiled " with that the lights were dimmed and the family began to suck Stevie wonders version of " happy birthday"
Zain stimmed happily enjoying this particular moment as he blew out his candles
" Man I can't believe he's 17 time really flies " Lucious said handing Cookie a drink" aww are you feeling sentimental Lucious" she said trying to tease him slightly " shut up "
After blowing out the candles Zain turned his attention to the gifts Rob bought him.
He bought him a beat machine and a chain " how'd you afford those you didn't do anything illegal did you " no ma'am I used some of my savings " we'll pay you back Lucious added " it's fine it was my pleasure"
Lucious's P.O.V
As the sun was setting, I couldn't help but feel at how Zain's 17th birthday turned out. The party was off the hook, just like my boy! Seeing him crack a smile and have a blast with the tight-knit family warmed my heart like nothing else. It was one hell of a celebration, with everyone coming together to show Zain some well deserved love.
Watching Zain laugh and vibe with everyone got me all emotional, man. That's my boy and he's come so far. He's a real champ facing challenges like a boss. The love and support he got from he felt was epic.
As the day winded down, I couldn't help but reflect on the journey we've been on. We've had our ups and downs, but today was a reminder that we're a tight team. Zain's taught me so much about what truly matters in life, and I'm blessed to be his mom, no doubt.
As we said our goodbyes and everybody left I felt grateful for our bond. Zain's birthday bash was all about the love we share, and it reminded me how important it is to keep that connection strong.
Now I'm tucking him in late in the night, my heart is full, knowing that Zain's happiness was the ultimate gift to me and my Cookie. I'm excited for the journey ahead, and I can't wait to keep cherishing every moment with my man. Here's to the next 17 years my boy .. happy birthday 🎉
