"FRAAAAAAANNNNNNNCCCCEEE! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"Hello, Mr. England!"

"Good day, Mr. England"

I nodded at the maids as they saw me storm into his home. Of course I knew where he lived! I knew everything about him, even if he did not tell me. I know everything.

His manor was fairly big. It was classical French styled with many neutral colors like white, beige, and cream to help blend the architecture. I had only been here once, a long time ago, after the American Civil War. He kept bugging me to come see his new home.

One thing led to another, and he managed to convince me to take a photo.

If only photos were possible in the past, I would purposely catch the most horrendous things he does to blackmail him.

"Ah! Arthur! I was thinking about you right now! I was wondering when you would see the proposal, but judging by your invasion, I can tell you have already seen it!" He laughed. He gestured for his maids to leave, and they wasted no time.

"Damn right! Are you crazy?! What will people think? What are you planning? I hope you don't think I will sign anything before discussing this!" I lectured. He begun laughing at me, placing an arm around me, pulling me closer to him. "Also! If this is your way of showing off, I want out of it! No more wars!" I added.

"Arthur my dear, come with me so we can talk about this in private," he spoke. I pulled myself away from him, crossing my arms. "Why? We can talk out here!" I spoke. I moved my hand toward my waist coat, showing him a knife.

I've come prepared for anything.

"A knife?! Are you flirting with me?!" He cheered. He began to fan himself as if he were overheated, and I glared. "No! I've brought protection!"

"Protection? Arthur, you must really be excited about this alliance. More aggressive than I thought, but I can see you haven't lost your charm!"

I began to breath heavily from anger and embarrassment.

"No! None of that! I've come to talk your ear off!" I threatened.

"You say that as if it were a bad thing. Come! Let's go somewhere more private!" He demanded. He took my hand quickly, pulling me down one of the hallways. I could see how from a distance, his maids watched us.

How embarrassing!

When we entered one of his office rooms, I couldn't help but take everything in for a moment. He had photos hanging up, some with government officials, some with other nations, it was nice.

I crossed my arms, turning to look at him. He had closed the door behind us, and continued to smile. Why has he been so obnoxious lately. It was like he wants to annoy me even more

"Arthur, please, we can talk about my proposal, but why does it upset you so much? This is what we've talked about before, and now it is happening! Why does it make you upset? I thought you'd be happy!" He spoke. He began to purse his lips, and came closer. "I was hoping you would throw yourself at me, actually," he spoke.

My jaw dropped at what he said, and I did not know what to say. What has gotten into him? After the American Civil war, his attitude toward me has really been a confusing one. I can't tell if he hates me, or likes to tease me.

We stared at each other intensely, until I broke the eye contact, by turning around. "Well, I'm not necessarily against it. I'm only worried about your reasoning."

"You have trust issues, I understand. That is entirely my fault. But I promise you, this treaty is to help us end centuries of fighting, and I want to go through with this! Picture it, Arthur! People everywhere will be shocked! We will be strong together, and we won't fight anymore..."

As he said we wouldn't fight anymore, I had begun to feel a bit at ease.

I had my back turned to him, and held myself a bit. He was right about me having trust issues, and he was right that it was his fault. We have tried treaties before and they never worked, what would make this one different?

"What if it doesn't work? What if we betray each other?"

"I doubt that...if you read through the whole proposal, you would know that it is way for us to settle all disputes. Even over my rightful control in Monaco...." He whispered. Ah, I never wanted control of that country anyway, it was all my governments doing.

Wait...

Our governmental problems would be solved...

This...might work...

"How am I supposed to believe you? You've constantly disappointed me," I spoke. I could hear him take a few steps closer to me as I stayed looking away. It was my way of staying focused

"Well, I hope you believe me when I tell you there is no possible situation where I would ruin this. I helped write the proposal to cover every part of our nasty government that pushes us apart. I have ensued there would be no situation where either of us would betray the other again. I would never dream of breaking this treaty that I have worked tirelessly on perfecting. Which, I hope to have your input once you agree to move forward. I couldn't dream of a moment where you would be betrayed and feeling unloved...you are too well tangled in my soul."

I stayed silent for a moment, but it processed in my brain.

"Unloved?" I asked confused. I turned my head to him, and he recoiled from shock. "Ah! You know what I mean! I care about you! I wouldn't want to worsen our relationship more than it is," he laughed. He looked nervous as he laughed, and I could not help but stare at him suspiciously.

"Hmm..." I hummed.

I turned away from him, looking back at his desk. It looked neat and organized. There was only one frame sitting at his desk.

I bet it was a picture of him, he was always conceded. I smiled at the thought, keeping my back to his so he wouldn't see. "What is this picture of?" I asked. I started walking toward his desk to turn the photo around, but he stopped me.

He nearly pushed me out of the way as he jumped toward his desk. He slammed the photo down, and covered his desk with his body. "Since when were you so nosy?!" He asked, defensive.

"Uh...You are such a child," I rolled my eyes.

His face had turned red, and he continued to block me from looking at his desk. It was definitely a picture of himself.

"Fine! I will do it! I will look over it and even make some edits and additions! We will do this...officially!" I spoke. Saying it out loud only made me more anxious. "Ah, are you asking me to marry you? Why so stiff?"

"Please, as if anyone would want to marry you!" I glared.

"Once again, I am lost in whether you are flirting with me or trying to start a fight. You make it awfully confusing..."

"What? I do not!"

"Awww! Did I make the little bunny embarrassed?" He laughed. I was about to say something, but his comment about me being a bunny, shut me up. Like my dream...

"I'm not a bunny...I am...a young man now! Twenty-three to be exact!"

"Ah yes, you've grown...to be a handsome young-man..."

God...I hope I don't regret this.

"Well, surprisingly, we haven't reached the hard part," I laughed. It was true, there were bigger steps to this. Embarrassing ones. "Ah! My favorite part! We declare our allegiance for one another to the entire world! Everyone will know of our scandalous affair! Many nations will talk! And then there is the ceremony!" He blabbed.

Hearing him mention the ceremony made me smile a bit. "Wow, the last time that happened, in front of people was during the Hundred Years...I suppose I should start planning," I spoke. Everything needed to be perfect.

"Ah, you are the planner, what a surprise!" He laughed. I rolled my eyes at him as he came toward me. He had left the photo faced down, and I was still curious about my hunch. "The ceremony will be nearly as perfect as me," he continued. He really was vain.

"We will see..."
