Today was just a normal day for Tora. He wore his pajamas to school, hanging out with Haru, and coming home because he wasn't as nervous as his mother.

Hearing a knock coming from the front door. Tora went to get it, and he opened the door for the guest. There stood his first friend, Haru. The little boy had such a big smile on his face before he went to hug his friend.

"Tora!"

"Hi, Haru"

Letting the Sasaki family inside the house. His mom came out with a bright smile as she greeted Haru's parents. Tora decided to bring his toys out where his mother could see him and Haru play. Mrs. and Mr. Sasaki sat beside Tora's mother as she gave them a cup of tea and snacks. Tora's mother introduced herself before Haru's parents did after. Tora was minding his own business with Haru until he saw his father walk out all dressed up.

"Oh, honey.. Is it already time for work?"

"Yes...Oh, I didn't know we had company"

"Oh yes, this is Hana Sasaki and Tohru Sasaki. These are our son's friend's parents!"

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you"

Tora's father reached his hand out to shake their hands before he left to work. Hana sipped her tea before she cleared her throat.

"What does your husband do for a living?"

"Oh! He's a businessman!"

"Really?"

"Yes!"

Tora's mother really couldn't tell Sasaki's family that her husband was actually a mob boss. That would ruin her child's reputation, and she didn't want that for her son! Hana did have a slight suspicion about her newfound friend, but she decided to shrug it off. Right off the bat, Tora's mother had started up a new conversation to distract them from asking any other questions about her husband.

While the parents were talking. Tora grabbed Haru's friend and went to his bedroom. Haru follows his friend. The two children entered Tora's bedroom, where they both sat on his bed. Haru was looking around in astonishment as he saw the many different colors and other expensive stuff that was placed inside his friend's room.

"Your room is so nice, Tora!"

"Thank you"

"It's really decorated!"

"Thank you, I asked my mommy if she could help me decorate"

"I wish my room was like yours! Mine is only plain colors"

"I think plain colors are alright"

Haru disagreed with that. He had explained that he preferred decorated things in his room, so whenever he gets the chance to have his friends over, he does so. He could show off his cool-looking room. For the first time, Tora laughed at his friend's explanation. That brought a bright expression to his face. It was clear that Haru had never seen his friend laugh or smile. And for once, his friend had a pretty smile when he laughed.

It was evening, and dinner had been made. Hana had called the boys to come and eat with them. When the boys stopped playing a card game called "Goldfish," they walked out of Tora's bedroom and headed straight to the dining area. Tora sat beside his mother, and Hara sat between his parents. They thanked each other for the food before they started to eat their broiled fish with rice and Yasai Itame. Yasai Itame was a stir-fry of vegetables. It had snow peas, onions, cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, and a little bit of garlic and ginger. Tora always tried to move around vegetables, but he couldn't do it this time with his mother next to him. So he sucked it up and ate the dish.

After they were done. It was time for the family to leave, but Haru didn't want to go yet. Hana asked Tora's mother if Haru could stay, which she agreed to. Haru cheered and followed his friend who was already heading to his bedroom. As Hana and Tohru bid their goodbyes and left. Tora's mother did her own little dance, feeling accomplished that her son finally got a friend and that she had made friends. She had made progress so that her son could have a normal life instead of a dangerous one like her husband. She didn't want that for her son at all.

She had gone ahead and gone back to cleaning the dishes she had used for supper. It was a peaceful evening. Tora let Haru borrow a pair of his pajamas. Before Haru climbed into the bed with Tora. They were both lying in bed, watching TV. The two little ones fell asleep as the hours passed.

Meanwhile...

Daiki quietly opened the door before shutting it afterward. He had removed his suit jacket before slipping his shoes off.

"Daiki?"

Daiki had stopped before turning his attention to the voice. It was his wife, Asami. She had her nightgown on.

"Did I wake you?"

"Daiki, I've been up. Are you.."

"I am."

"Gosh Daiki"

Asami sighed before she walked over to her blooded husband. Asami gave her husband a hard look. She had stopped cleaning her husband's back and crossed her arms.

"What do you mean he's not?.."
"I want our son to have a normal life."
"Normal life? This is his normal life"

"No, it isn't Daiki! Drugs, murder, and money aren't normal! This is bad!"

"Maybe you should've rethought your choices before marrying me."

Asami felt her heart throb as she kept her mouth shut. Daiki's words felt like venom had leaked from his mouth. As she back-hugged her husband, she let out a small sob. Daiki only stared at the shower walls as he listened to his wife cry.

"I love you, Daiki. You were my first and only love. Even if I didn't marry you, I would still try to chase after you"

The only thing Asami couldn't do was express her feelings for Daiki. Despite Daiki's dangerous lifestyle, she chose to stay by his side because she loved him so much. Yet she only thought she could get the chance to change her dearest husband's lifestyle for her during the time she was pregnant.

"If I can't have our firstborn have a normal lifestyle, then..can we have another?"

Daiki turned his head to face his wife. He gave his wife a passionate kiss before they made love in the bathroom.
