Hey guys, so I've decided that there will be a sequel (kind of) to TGWL. However, I've got a busy year coming up this year, so I plan on cutting down the sequel to less than 20 chapters

Harry's Point of View:

"Ron, will you take Scarlet inside?" I told him more than asked him. But I suppose the way I said it didn't matter too much considering that Ron had already disappeared with Scarlet inside Shell Cottage. Dobby's lifeless body dangled in my arms. Luna closed his eyes. Bill helped me dig a grave which I gently placed him in. We each said a few words before inserting a tombstone and filling the grave. With Malfoy's wand, I engraved the tombstone. "Here lies Dobby, a free elf".

Everyone went inside, but me. I stared at the tombstone, deep in thought. "Harry, Scarlet wants to see you". Fleur called from the threshold of the cottage. "Coming". I said. I slowly made my way to the cottage. Scarlet sat on the couch, covered in layers and layers of blankets. Yet, she was still shivering. Ron sat on the carpet munching away at all of the food in the house that was about to go bad the very next day. Luna sat next to Scarlet, tending to her fever like symptoms. Hermoine sat in the rocking chair, reading one of her favorite stories. "Ron, you shouldn't eat so much at one time. It's bad for your health". Said Fleur who somewhat resembled Mrs. Weasley's fussy but motherly nature.

"You clearly don't know Ron that well". Commented Hermoine who momentarily broke from reading the story. I entered the room. "Scarlet. How are you?" I asked. "Perfectly fine". She said before shivering again. I took a seat across from her. "Scarlet, what did they do to you?" I stared into her eyes as I massaged the undersides of her wrists. "They cast the cruciatus curse on her, that's what. And afterwards, they carved up her right arm". Said Hermoine. "I just get so upset about this that I can't eat anymore". Ron said, pushing the food away. I lifted up her sleeve to see this for myself. There were multiple gashes on her arm. Some that overlapped, making them into a deeper gash. "Scarlet....." I trailed off. "I'm sorry, there wasn't a spell to heal that sort of injury completely". "I have a spell. But I need some Dittany to prevent scarring". I said. Scarlet wouldn't like how I knew the spell, but it'd close up her wounds that could easily get infected. Fleur left and soon returned with a small bottle of it. I applied the bottle of Dittany to Scarlet's arm. I began chanting the Vulnera Sanetur spell as I traced my wand over her wounds. She whimpered as the gashes began to knit together and close completely. Her arm was as good as new. At least something good came out of the book of the Half Blood Prince.

When everyone headed to bed, I stayed with Scarlet. I peeled away the blankets that were layered on top of her. I draped one over the two of us as I tightly embraced her. She wrapped my fingers around my arms that were wrapped around her. "I was so scared. Please don't leave me again, Harry". She said. Her breathing became unsteady as she recalled the events at Malfoy Manor. I only tightened my hold around her. That seemed answer enough for her. Seeing her arm filled a rage through me. But as angry as I was at the person who did this, I was much angrier at myself. I left her alone. I couldn't protect her.

This was somewhat of a repeating cycle. Everyone I cared about got hurt because of me and I couldn't protect them. Mad-eye Moody, Sirius, Wormtail, Dobby, and mom and dad. It's just a matter of time before Scarlet's fate ends like theirs did. I can prevent her death from happening. I just have to push her away. My heart hurt from the thought. But it was something that needed to be done. I'd made up my mind. "Harry?" Scarlet was checking to see if my mind was elsewhere, which it was. "Hmm?" I craned my neck so I could look down at her. She looked up at me with those large innocent eyes of hers. God, I would miss this. Her scent, her voice, her laugh, the way she felt in my arms, and the way she made me feel as though I were the only one in her universe. "You're suffocating me". She wheezed. I loosened my arms around her. She settled beside me again. "Harry..." She trailed off again. I shushed her. "Just a few more minutes".
