Newlyweds: The mattress I slept on was moving up and down. Someone was jumping up and down on it. "Get off! I swear, I'll ground you for a week". I threatened. The jumping stopped. I was up, I just wasn't quite ready to get up. I felt the slight tugging of hair that I still kept in a ponytail. It was easier that way. "But what about lunch? If you won't make it for me, then I'm not going". The childish voice pouted. "Fine". I mumbled. I stumbled around the dark room, stepping on plush toys, searching for my robe. My vision hadn't quite kicked in yet. I threw on a robe, which I wore over my plain shirt and exercise shorts. I yawned as I walked down the steps and shuffled my feet to the kitchen. Ron bounced up and down in his seat. I normally prepared his lunch in advance, but I guess I must've forgotten. "I honestly can't see why you couldn't just buy your lunch". I commented, packing leftovers into many different containers. "Because there's nothing better than your food". Ron said. I piled the lunch into his insulated lunch boxes. All of them with pictures of Viktor Krum on them. Each one had Ron's name written on the inside just in case he lost them. "Why do you need so many lunch boxes? Can't you just pile all of the food into one?" I asked him.

"Because I need six lunch boxes. Two for second breakfast, which is the most important meal of the day. One for elevenses. One for luncheon. One for afternoon tea. And one for supper. Of course, I won't be needing one for breakfast or dinner because I eat them here with you. Without the lunch boxes, there is no distinction in between meals". He said to me. "You're eating all the time. How is there a distinction in between meals. You're constantly eating". I said. "That's what you think". He said. I walked him to the door. He had begun working as an Auror, alongside Harry. I worried about his safety, but Harry assured to me that he'd always be safe. Ron and I stood opposite each other, next to the door. Ron in his oversized jacket and lunchboxes, and me in my fuzzy robe. "Your tie isn't right. Here, let me fix it". On my tip toes, I stretched to reach his collar in which I fixed his tie. He had tangled into some giant knot, somehow. "I don't know where I'd be without you". His eyes filled with nothing but warmth. "Certainly not with a straight tie". I said. "Hey Scarlet..." He began. "Hmm....?" I didn't look up from the still tangled tie. "Are you sure that you don't want children?" He asked. Ron recently had been pushing for children. I didn't have anything against having children, it was just that I didn't think we were quite ready. I straightened out his tie, and arranged it perfectly. "I told you what I think. It's the same answer as last night". I said. I looked at him. His eyes pleaded. Too bad that didn't work on me. He was going to have to try a lot harder than that. "Well, I tried. I need to go. love you". He said, kissing me on the forehead. I didn't think that we needed a child. My arms were already full with the one I already had.

First Anniversary: "How could you cheat on me? Again? And with him?" Ron screamed. He'd returned early from work. He was throwing things now. Whenever he got upset, it was like a natural disaster. "When have I ever cheated on you?" It wasn't my fault that he misunderstood the witness he saw. "When you were with Oliver! And then you were with Harry! And now! That's three times". He counted the times on his fingers. He held up four fingers. Seeing this, he lowered one, so it was three. "We weren't even together those two times. And what you saw was a misunderstanding. You have no right to be mad at me right now". I crossed my arms. "Well in my mind we were. I was the first one you met. If I didn't like you, then you wouldn't have known Oliver Wood or Harry. I saw you first!" "I didn't even know how you felt until after fifth year. How was I supposed to know?" I noticed that my volume was beginning to increase. I tried to lower it, but it was no use.

"Fine. What about now? I saw you two together! You were dressed in a new outfit, one that I've never seen you wear before! He gave you a present! A necklace! When you opened it, you leaped into his arms!" I finally knew who he was talking about. And in no way, would it be considered cheating. "You mean the mailman? He found a package that I thought was lost in the mail. And the outfit I was wearing, wasn't new. I was cleaning out storage and I found an old dress of mine. I wanted to try it on to see if it still fit. Then, the doorbell rang. It was the mailman". Ron's expression softened. "I'm sorry, Scarlet. I can't stand the sight of you with some other guy. I'm afraid you're going to leave me". His hands caressed the palms of my hands. "It's a bit much too late for that". I said. I pulled out a stick. There were two lines. One a very bright pink. The other, a faint line. "Is this what I think it is?" He asked me. I nodded. "The pregnancy test was positive".
