chapter sixteen

kai's pov

"she's gone!" i yell as i quickly run back to jay's room.

"kai, you better fucking find her. she was last with cole, im going to go find her." jay begins getting up, but i quickly run over to him and lay him back down.

"you are in no condition to have your ass out of this bed." i reply to jay, "just stay here, and i'll find her, i promise. have i ever let you down?" i ask and jay furrows a brow.

"actually, yes... more than once." jay answers, crossing his arms.

"well this is (y/n) we're talking about, i have to find her, so i wont let you down!" i shout quickly running out of the room and over to cole.

"hey, have you seen (y/n)? i went to go look for her for jay, but i couldn't find her and you were last with her." i ask cole quickly whose face was filled with confusion.

"uhm, no, i dont, you sure she's not like in the bathroom? or maybe she went home?" cole asks and i sigh, my face turn over towards nya.

"hey sis, can you check the girls bathroom to see if (y/n) is in there?" i ask nya who nods and goes into the bathroom. she comes out a few minutes later and shakes her head.

"oh boy.." i rub my eyes and stand there for a second before leaving the hospital. i look around to see if (y/n) was outside, but she wasn't there either. "come on (y/n), where could you be..?"

i turn to the corner to see the jade princess. "princess? what're you doing here?" i furrow a brow and she looks at me awkwardly.

"oh well.. i heard about jay and i just wanted to see if he was okay. is he okay?" harumi replies and i nod.

"you can go in and see him if you'd like, maybe even talk to lloyd?" she nods and begins walking toward my direction to go through the doors. "oh he wait, have you seen (y/n) out here?" i ask her and she stops to look at me.

"no uhm, unfortunately not, why?" she replies and asks, i let out stressful sigh and shake my head.

"no reason, if see her can you tell her jay's looking for her?" i ask the princess and she nods heading back inside. i decided to drive around and look for her, but i could not find her.

after a few minutes i get a text from (y/n) saying sorry i left without saying goodbye, i decided i would go home to rest up.

with that message i felt relieved and decided to go back to hospital to go tell jay the wonderful news, kind of sad that my guy didn't get to tell (y/n) how he felt about her.

i got back to the hospital and went into jay's room, "did you hear anything?" jay questions as soon i get into the room.

"yes, she said she's safe at home getting rest." i smile at jay who lets out a sigh of relief, "i'll let you get your sleep tonight." i leave the room and take both lloyd, harumi, zane, and i back to the castle.

harumi's pov

kai brought some of the ninja and i back to the castle and i begin to sneak out the window to go with my crew.

i sneak into the room, "wait until the boss hears we've caught a girl!"

"oh i already have, her friends are wondering where she might be." i reply in disappointment, "gosh you guys are idiots!"

"but sir, she matches the blood to bring back garmadon!" ultra violet shouts excitedly.

"what did you just say?" i turn my head over to ultra violet.

"she said-" killow begins but i cut him off.

"oh shut up, i heard what she said." i roll my eyes and killow frowns. i walk over (y/n) and smile, "you missy, are now my new prized possession." i lift her chin and laugh along with the others laughing alongside of me.

"mmm mmph mm." (y/n) struggles carelessly and i look at her.

"does the prized possession have something she wants to say to me?" i look back at the others and laugh i little.

i turn back to (y/n) who was nodding, i take off the tape from her mouth. "speak now or forever hold your peace."

"i said you can have me, no one's going to come for me. it's not like jay's not in the hospital." (y/n) says and rolls her eyes.

"you are annoying.." i say and put the tape back over her mouth. "no one will look for you because they think you are safe at home." i pick up (y/n) by her cuffs and throw her in the dungeon. "good luck being found." i smile before locking up the dungeon.
