Chapter Six

(Y/N)'s POV

"You enjoying your food?" Cole asks with a smile.

"Yup! It's amazing!" I reply with excitement.

We were having lunch, first we had walked around a park and talked, but now it was lunch so here we were eating.

I really did miss this, but.. the feeling was different from last time. It was like something changed. I shrugged it off and continued enjoying this day.

"Did you want to go shopping after this since we didn't get to go yesterday?" Cole asks.

"I'd love that!!" As soon as I said that I heard Cole's phone go off. I gave him a look like "your going to leave me" but no. He silenced his phone, and continued eating, but.. he looked rather... bothered.

Cole's POV

I had just gotten an alert from the ninja saying that they need me, but it's bad enough (Y/N) already suspects something.

It really bothered me that I couldn't help out my friends, but (Y/N) would never forgive me.

"You look very bothered." (Y/N) says a bit worriedly.

"Oh I'm fine!" I told her, little did she know I was lying.

Now I would have to make it up to them too. Damnit they need me.

"Alright. Let me know when your done eating." (Y/N) said as she went on her phone.

I finished my last couple bites, finished my drink, and done.

"I'm done eating." I say a few minutes after she said that.

"Alright, Lets pay for this food and go." (Y/N) chirps.

We had payed for the food, and then we went to the mall. We needed to get food for the house, and (Y/N) wanted more clothes.

Not going to lie, so do I. I mean it's supposed to be fun for both of us.

At this point nothing was really on my mind.

"What do you want to do first?" I ask her.

"We should probably get clothes first, so if we get anything that needs to go into the fridge or freezer won't get warm." (Y/N) made a point.

"Alright, whatever you say." I smile, as we asked into a clothing store that caught (Y/N)'s eye.

"Ooo~ I want this!!" (Y/N) shouts it was {Clothing you really want} She made puppy dog eyes that I couldn't say no to.

Besides I do owe her from yesterday... I may have been tired that day for leaving so late at night, but man today's been a pretty good day.

"Fine." I rolled my eyes and laughed, her eyes widened.

"Really?!! Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!" (Y/N) shouts as she jumps up and give me a big hug.

It surprised me at first but then I gave a warm smile, and hugged her back.

"Anything for you." I reply.

Wait.. Why the hell did I say that! I said to my thoughts.

(Y/N)'s POV

When Cole said yes to {clothing you really want} it felt like my whole world stopped for a minute.

Today was a really good day for me, I wish it could last forever but.. not if Cole keeps going to work all day, and having no time at all for me.

We got all our clothes, and groceries. We went back home to put all the stuff away.

It was 3:42 in the afternoon. I let out a huge sigh.

I was thinking of something for us to do as we put the groceries away, and then it hit me.

"Wanna watch a movie?!" I asked in excitement.

Cole gave a big smile as he put the last groceries away.

"You know it." He said.

This is sort of just a filler, but it is an actual chapter. This was just the only thing that could come to mind to me, but don't worry I have ideas for the next chapters 😉
