"d-denji..." you say quietly, tears running down your face. denji looked towards your weak body as he began to revert back to human form.

he sprinted towards you, quickly helping you up. "h-hey, no need to-"
"i won't make it" you replied, cutting denji off. denji inspected your body, his eyes instantly going to the gorey mess in your torso.

"no, the hospital can fix that! if we hurry!" denji replied as he attempted to give a sense of hope to the both of you. you shook your head, coughing. denji frowned at the amount of blood that came from your mouth. "y-y/n..y/n!"
your vision had gone completely black as denji felt you go limp against him. denji had began crying now, tightly clutching onto your corpse.

—present day—
denji laid the flowers on your grave, staring at the grave. "sorry i couldn't save you.." he muttered as he started to tear up. "i love you. i hope you're happy in heaven or whatever.." he sniffled, wiping his tears. aki and power walked over.

"hopefully, they'll reincarnate" aki said, resting his hand on denji's shoulder. "sucks. they were fun to hang with" power added, patting denji's back.
"we can head back now" denji said, walking back towards the car. aki and power glanced at each other before falling denji.
