"YOU'RE GOING TO KILL yourself one of these days.." aki muttered as he finished wrapping up your wounded arm. "like you're one to talk, mr. smokes-a-lot" you replied, a grin on your face. you then took the cigarette from your boyfriend's mouth and held it between two of your fingers. "plus, you can't kiss me with a cig in your mouth" you added, putting it out in a nearby ashtray.

"that was a fresh one.." he said as he looked at the cigarette in the tray. "they rot your bones." "i still mean what i said" aki spoke, motioning to your bandaged arm. "you need to be more careful when dealing with the devils. i can't kiss a mangled corpse."

"i'm so careful, aki, today was just a little mishap" you replied. aki placed a soft kiss onto your lips, which you happily returned. he then pulled away. "let's not have anymore 'mishaps,' okay?" he said. you nodded in response. "as long as i have you, denji, and power, i'm good" you spoke.

"and if we aren't there?" aki asked. "i still have my contract with the blade devil" you replied hesitantly. you knew that aki didn't like the blade devil since it would make cuts on your skin while you slept as part of your end of the deal, but it was quite powerful. "you should just call us" he said.
