It's been a couple of days since Carls... Kind of party. He decided that he is going to switch stations after all.
"Good morning" I say as I roll out of bed.
"Good morning baby" Carl says and plants a small kiss on my cheek.
I walk down the stairs and walk into Everlieghs room. But she's not in there
"CARL HAVE YOU SEEN EV" I yell up to him
"Umm, No" He says coming down the stairs.
"What the fuck. EVERLIEGH GET OVER HERE"
I yell out to the house but nothing.
"Oh my god, what the fuck" Carl says as he runs back down the stairs "She's not up there either"
"Oh my god, Where is my baby" I say and start to cry.
"I'm going to look on the cameras" Carls says going to grab his phone.
I go into Everlieghs room and see a note sitting on her bed.
"I'm taking her on a drive. I'm going to show her the world. She's safe with me.
-Ian"
"CARL, CARL IAN HAS HER" I say as I let small sobs escape my mouth.
"I just saw" he says walking into the room.
"H-he left this" I say stumbling on my words, and hand him the note.
"Look at me Mya, Ian would never hurt her. He took her about an hour ago, he couldn't be that far." Carl says as he rubs my back
"We need to call Mickey, and Fiona and everyone. No cops though. I don't want him to go to jail" I say as I stand up and pull out my phone.
"Good idea" Carl says and starts to call people.
"Mickey, your fucking husband took off with my kid" I say not crying this time.
" I was just about to call. He took my brothers truck, and he left a note it says 'Me and Ev are going to explore the world, i'm going to take her the places Mya and Carl NEVER would. I want her to know where she came from, not just who she came from' and the never is capitalized" Mickey says into the phone with slight voice cracks.
"Fuck, is he about to take her to see my dad. FUCK!" I yell and hang up the phone.
"CARL WE HAVE TO GO... NOW!!!!!!" I yell and grab his keys and walk out the door.
"Do you know where she is" Carl says grabbing the keys from my hand
"I'm pretty sure he took her to my fucking dads. NOW DRIVE" I say yelling and bucking my seat belt.
"I don't even know where to go Mya. Please calm down" Carl says while he starts to drive forward.
"We can try my childhood home, someone has to live here" I say as I catch my breath.
My leg starts bouncing, and I start biting my nails. Little tears start to fall down my face. It's all my fault, I let this happen. How didn't I hear her? Maybe if we had alarms or something this wouldn't have ever happened.
Carl looks over at me with a sorry look and places his hand on my thigh. He gives me a weak smile and continues driving.
"Cant you turn on your light things so you can go faster" I say because we're going stupidly slow considering the situation.
"Fuck yeah I can" He says and flips them on and starts to swerve through traffic.
"Ok ok turn them off I don't want to scare them off" I say as we get closer to the house.
We finally pull up to the house and it looks all trashed. The door is wide open. Carl walks in slowly, and shoved me behind him and grabs my hand.
he turns around the corner and we see someone... My mom?
"Hey sweetie" She says standing up and reaching out for a hug.
"Where is he" I say stepping back.
"Who" She says clearly confused
"My dad, Where is he. He has my fucking baby. Was a red head here, He's tall, good looking, his name is Ian" I say and start to panic.
"The red headed boy was here, Yes. He had a little girl with him, she was precious" My mom says clearly not getting what's going on.
"Yeah well that's our fucking daughter he had with him. And he's looking for Mya's dad. So if you will snap the fuck out of it and help is look for him that would be great" Carl says and starts to get annoyed "Or I can have you arrested for using illegal drugs, I'm a cop after all.. All I gotta do is slap these bad boys on you" Carl says swinging his hand cuffs around
"o-ok i'll help, he might be down at G doggs" She says
"Really, He's dead so that's not possible. I saw him die" Carl says
"Well his gang is still around you know" She says annoyed.
"Fine just fucking tell us where. And FAST, I don't want my kid around that shit, she could get killed" I say to her and walk next to Carl and wrap my arms around him.
We walk out of the house and into Carls cop car. My mom tells us where to go.
About 10 minutes later we arrive.
"This is a full on fucking drug house" I say getting out the car
"Here put this on, you could breath something in" Carl says throwing a mask at me.
"You're telling me my daughter could me in there breathing in toxic shit. WHAT THE FUCK" I say and run to the house and start banging on the door
"MYA FUCKING CHILL" Carl yells at me
"NO CARL NO! I'm not going to fucking chill. My baby is fucking missing, she's gone i don't know where she's at." i say to him.
"I get that, and i'm probably just as fucking scared as you are. But you have to stay calm or this is not going to go how you want it to" Carl says stepping onto the porch.
I gently knock on the door again, and a skinny black guy opens the door.
"COP" The guy yells and starts to run, but Carl pu back on his shirt.
"Im not here to bust y'all chill. My daughter is missing. I'm officer Carl Gallagher, and this is my Wife, Mya Gallagher. She was last seen with a Tall red head named Ian. And we suspect that there here with someone. Mike Coleman. My daughter name
is Everliegh Gallagher. But most of the time she goes by Ev. Have you seen them" Carl says very professionally.
"Yeah, uh, Mike was here with them. They uh, they left like 10 minutes ago. They came here and boughs some shit. Mike took the little girl with him. Red left before. Mike said something about 'Giving her his fist experience' or some shit. They might be by the L" The guy says clearly high.
"Is he going ti give my kid coke. What did he buy" Carl says, now starting to get panicky.
"Uh, Coke, some weed, and um, wax. I thinks that's all" the guy says
"Ok well thank you i guess. And so help me god, if my daughter dies. I will come here and get every single one of you bused you understand me" I say as small tears start to fall from my eyes
We rush into the car, and leave my mom behind. We get to the L and i see them. My dad and Everliegh
"NO STOP" I yell but it was too late.
