Chapter 5

Bailey’s POV

Mom and dad gave me and Mal a week to recover after what happened. They wanted to talk to all four of us with Fairy Godmother.

Beast- I think we all know why we're here. The people are in a panic about Hades. He almost got out. Who knows what he would've done if he had escaped. We can't risk having another villain on the loose.

Mal- I feel like this is my fault. Im suppose to protect Auradon.

Ben- You did. You do protect Auradon.

Beast- Every time we open the barrier, were exposed to more danger. Maleficent, Uma, Hades.

After dad finished that sentence, I didn't feel so good. I put my hand over my mouth, I felt Carlos put his hand on my lower back.

Belle- Honey, are you okay?

I just shake my head no because it feels like I'm gonna throw up.

Beast- Carlos, why don't you take Bailey back to her room. As soon as we are done here, we will be right over.

Carlos nodded and left with me, taking me to my room. As soon as we got to my room, I sprinted toward the bathroom and threw up everything I had in my stomach. Carlos came behind, he held my hair, and rubbed my back.

Mal’s POV

Ben's phone then rings.

Ben- Maleficent’s scepter and the queen's crown have been stolen.

Beast- Uma.

Ben- We don't know that, Dad.

Beast- When people hear this, they will never wanna leave their houses. What do we tell them?

Belle- Mal… what do we do? How do we keep evil out of Auradon?

Mal- I think that there's only… one way to guarantee their safety. And I think that there… Can't be anymore going in and out. I think that we have to close the barrier… forever.

Ben- No.

Ben then walks away.

Beast- Son.

Mal- Ben.

Ben- No, no, no.

Mal- Ben. Hey. I do not want to take away your dream, because it was so beautiful, and it is why I fell in love with you. But as king and queen, what’s our duty?

Ben- To protect Auradon.

I nodded. We hugged it out.

Mal- Okay. Why don't we go check on Bailey to see if she's doing okay.

Bailey’s POV

I was still throwing up. At this point, I was just gagging. There was nothing left. Then there was a knock at the door.

Carlos- In here.

Everyone ran to the bathroom to see you in front of the toilet holding your stomach. Carlos was sitting behind you rubbing your back and holding your hair.

Fairy Godmother- Carlos, can you bring Bailey out here, please?

He nodded. Carlos picked me up and set me down on my bed. He then sat down afterwords and held my hand.

Fairy Godmother- Your majesties, is it okay if I examine Bailey?

Beast- Of course.

Fairy Godmother- Okay. Bailey, can you lay down for me?

I nodded my head. She brought out her wand and started to examine me. She did all the tests that were needed to find out what was wrong with me.

Fairy Godmother- Carlos, Bailey, you two are expecting.
