Chapter 15

Mal's POV

The entire family was in Audrey's room including her grandmother. There was a sudden knock on the door. Beast went to open the door. My father then stepped right into the room.

Mal- Thank you for coming.

Hades- Didn't have much choice.

Ben- Can you wake her?

Hades- Since when do heroes care about villains?

Ben- She's–

Hades- One of your own? Right. When you guys try to destroy the world, it's an error in judgment. But when it's one of us, lock 'em up, throw away the key. Right, Beast?

He then puts his hands up.

Hades- Yeah, I'm gonna need to use my hands.

The guards then unlock the cuffs. I handed him his ember.

Hades- Haven't lost my touch.

Hades then turned to do his business but was stopped by Beast. He started to growl and Beast growled back.

Mal- Dad.

He walked over to Audrey's bed and did his magic. Audrey has woken up.

Queen Leah- Oh, Audrey. You're okay.

Audrey- Tell me it was all a bad dream.

Mal- I wish I could. But it's over now.

Audrey- I'm sorry. I wanted to hurt you both. I wanted to hurt all of you.

Mal- I have owed you an apology for a very long time now.

Ben- And so have I.

Queen Leah- And perhaps... I... have owed you one, too.

The guards then put the cuffs back on dad and escorted him out.

Mal- Dad! I'm gonna have to miss you all over again.

Hades- Thanks for a glimpse of the sun.

I went up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He then handed me his ember and left. I went back to Audrey's room since that was where everyone was. We were catching up when Bailey's cat, Sugar, came into Audrey's room.

Carlos' POV

I was in Audrey's room with everyone when Sugar came up to me and brushed up against my leg.

Carlos- Well, hi there.

I picked up Sugar and placed her on my lap.

Beast and Belle looked at each other weirdly. Then Beast commented...

Beast- Sugar isn't allowed out of Bailey's room without her leash.

Belle- If she isn't on her leash... then... somethings wrong.

Audrey- Oh my god.

Queen Leah- What is it, Audrey? Is everything okay?

Audrey- I made Bailey prick her finger on a spinning wheel, but everything is so fuzzy that I don't remember where I did it at.

Carlos- Sugar, where's mommy?

Sugar meowed, hopped off my lap, and left the room to go to Bailey's room. I got up and followed Sugar. I followed her to Bailey's room. Her door was cracked. I opened it and I see her passed out on the ground. I run up to her and put her head in my lap. Everyone then catches up.

Belle- Oh my god.

Carlos- Ben can you help me get Bailey on her bed?

Ben- Yeah, of course.

He then picked up Bailey's legs and helped me put her on her bed. After we set her down, I pull up a chair and sit next to her.

Mal- What would cause her to make her prick her finger?

Belle and Beast looked at each other.

Beast- When Ben and Bailey were born, your mother put a spell on Bailey. It can only be cured by a true love's kiss.

Everyone looks at me. I then turn my head and look at Bailey sleeping. I hope she is okay with our future child. I then lean down and connect my lips with hers. After I pull away, I rest my forehead on hers carefully. All of a sudden, I hear her groan. I pick my head up and see her beautiful blue eyes. When he saw your eyes, he smiled, and you smiled back at him. Carlos then started to cry happy tears. She brought her hand up to my cheek and wiped the tears away. I was so glad she was awake.
