stupid wind

After I landed I climbed up a tree and pulled some rope out. Binding both my bag and me to the tree. Then I went to sleep for a bit. When I woke it was early in the morning dawn just about to break the horizon. So I carefully undid the rope and tucked it away putting the bag back on I had some time to think so I started to think about how I would set myself up. 'A cave in the mountain with runes running all threw to keep everything in order. I'd have to dig it out and set it up on my own though. Caves are always used by animals especially predators.'

'I'll need to do an actual inventory of what I have and see what extra I missed. Plus I'll need to order books on the things I'll need to know for doing all this.' I groaned at the realization that I'd have next to no ability to get those books. 'right I'll need to change how I look.' I watched as the sun lit the sky more before going up the tree to see if I could spot a good place to start doing my inventory and digging.

After searching with my eyes for about forty minutes I spotted a descent spot. Pulling on my magic again I aperated there. Sitting down against the wall of the clif face I pulled the bag off. And searched through until I found a chisel and hammer. Placing those next to the bag I took out a can of fruit and ate slowly. Once finished with that I began to chip away at the rock. Envisioning a doorway slowly forming.

At lunch I took out a can of weenies to eat and the drawings spelling them to be traced to 4 private drive little winging in Surry I then spelled them to appear to Snape by dropping on his food when he was eating in the great hall. I then aloud some blood smudges to get all over them. Crumpling them a bit to show ware all of which would make them seem older. A few minutes into eating I noticed they disappeared. I smiled to myself.

It had been several days of straight working on it but I now had a door way and a small space I could sleep in. I had carved a squarish room half of which was used up by the raised basen I had carved out. It was as long as me and ruffly two me's deep. So given my unfortunate size not very big. I had collected a large amount of long narrow sticks and some more study ones for a frame. Having pulled apart a very shabby rope to get long strings. I began to bind first a frame then binding the small sticks across it. Once done I maneuvered it onto the basen.

'Bed and storage. hah! Multipurposing my stuff. huh still need a door though...' filling that thought for later I grabbed the bag and carefully began to pull out all the tools and knives laying them in an orderly fashion in the basin. Piling the all the linens to the side of me neatly. Once those were sorted I took careful note not to let any money tumble out as I did all this. Any that tried found it's way into the front pocket very quickly. Food was also put on my other side. I placed my father's cloak with the linens and looked through all the other stuff I had summoned. In all I was pretty well set off for a run away.

'Yeah I am pretty well off... Need to change the way I look to find out about those keys... Door first.' I thought to myself.
As I left out again to gather up some sturdy wood to make my door.

Hours later I had half the door done when I smelled a freshness to the air. That could only mean one thing. Rain. I began to work a little quicker with the door now. The first drops were falling as I braced the door up I had left stone hooks for putting the door up but none for keeping it closed. Strong gusts of wind were shoving the door at me. As I tried fruitlessly to close it.

The wind was so loud I missed the sounds of something coming closer to me and the door I was straining to close and keep closed. "Oh come on just let me close the door stupid wind!!" I cried out in frustration. When a large hand wrapped around the door and pushed it open.

When Fenrir Greyback pushed his way in and then shut the door himself and held it closed with one hand I'd be lying if I said I wasn't terrified. He examined the door and lack of a latch for a moment before turning to me. I jumped to action grabbing two of the screwdrivers and a hammer. I went further along the wall so I knew I wouldn't break the door way and began driving one of the screwdrivers in the plastic handle crack and breaking apart as I did so. Then did the same at the same distance but below with the second.

Grabbing some of the building rope as I'd dubbed it I threaded it threw the door at the bottom pulling it taught as I wound it tightly around the top peg before trimming it off a heading back for the top of the door. Fenrir took the rope from me and did the top part and wound it around the bottom peg. Then turned to me again. "Name" he growled out at me. Eyes glowing amber showing his anger.

' can't tell him I'm Harry one he'll kill me and two I'm not supposed to know. ' he growled at me for my lack of an answer. "Freak Boy sir." ' better to tell him that and play semi innocent then be ripped apart for not answering.' I stared at his eyes forcing myself to relax somewhat. "Are you a wolf sir like uncle moony was?" The glow of his eyes dimmed a bit in recognition of my words.

"I am. Is that really your name?" He gave me a doubtful look and sat on the floor at the door. Watching me as I pulled a big fluffy towel out.

Tossing it to him trying to keep as much distance as I possibly could between us. " I hope not sir. I want to believe mummy gave me a real name but it's hard to remember. Mrs Petunia and Mr Vernon always call me freak or boy so that's what I've got." I explained as I began cleaning up some what. Then began setting up the blankets like a pallet on the floor before putting just the sheets in the basen along with the bag repacked with all the miscellaneous items. I left two small blankets on my bed and put the pillow on the blanket pallet. "Mr wolf I hate to ask but your big so... Are you gonna hurt me like Mr Vernon did? If you are please just don't beat me when your done." I asked making it clear how Vernon had hurt me and that I hadn't asked cause of him being a wolf. But rather for being an adult.

Fenrir growled low in his throat causing me to backup instinctively. I pressed my back against the wall and let silent tears fall. "No. I won't hurt you little cub." Hands stroking through my hair softly. "Go to sleep little cub we can talk more when the stupid wind is gone." He said clearly trying to make me laugh. But I merely nodded. And curled up on my bed. Pulling the blankets up around me and over my head. Soon I heard him curl up on the pallet and go to sleep.
