Vel was sleeping in my arms a small smile still playing about his lips. I knew he was having pleasant dreams. I sat in the main room Severus and Sirius were glaring daggers at me. While Fenrir and Remus both appeared to be curious. "I don't know what makes you think this is appropriate he's 14 and your in your 70's." Severus bit out as he gestured to Vel's sleeping form.

Sirius had nodded along then gave a shocked look at Severus. "Can't believe I'm going to say this but I agree with Snape." They looked at each other in complete horror at that. "You hunted him from birth. You killed his family. You tried to kill him." He said and shook his head. "This is not okay."

"I've seen your creature side. Shadow Phenix correct?" Remus asked silencing the others. I nodded not wanting to speak up at the moment. I knew Vel was ment to be mine. But I didn't want to admit aloud I had tried to kill my mate. "Vel has yet to have his inheritance. If Lily's theory holds he'll have that at fifteen. But Phenix will feel a draw to their mate even before inheritance." Remus seemed to be speaking aloud his thoughts rather than just thinking them. "Correct me if I'm wrong but shadow Phenix specifically will always be older than their mate. And generally by a large margin. Yes?" He asked again clearly wanting me to tell them what he'd already figured out.

"Yes, I feel the draw. I have since I met him. It's why I left and didn't visit. He deserves better than me. But honestly I think he feels the draw as well. He found me. He brought me here. He came up with how many excuses to keep me here?" I said softening my voice as I tucked a stray lock of hair behind his ear. "He hated those others for flirting with him. Yet I who am older than all but one of them he has accepted so easily." I told them honestly my creature side wanted to squirrel him away somewhere nobody else would find. "Besides I really only need the permission of the one who has been his father figure." I smirked knowing how much Fenrir believed in honoring mate bonds.

Severus deflated knowing I had just won this battle. Remus nodded at me and patted Sirius's head. I knew Sirius was the bottom there. Sirius was pouting at Remus trying to win his support. It clearly wasn't working. "It's up to Fenrir dearest. Besides you wouldn't deny Har-Vel his mate would you?" Remus chided.

Fenrir's next words were spoken harshly. "It goes no further." Those words shocked everyone. But hurt me more then most. Instinctively I held him close. "You may court him. But nothing further until his inheritance, and no anything else until marriage. Unless there is heat involved wouldn't be fair to ask you to stop your natural instincts." Fenrir continued clearly feeling irritable. He made a give me motion towards Vel.

As I attempted to hand him over reluctantly Vel gripped my shirt tightly. He grumbled grumpily at us. "No leave..... Chain up..... Keep.... Mine...." I chuckled softly at him. I spelled my shirt off into his hands. And deposited him in Fenrir's arms. "Not leaving Vel. Yours always." I told him giving a soft kiss to his forehead.

Fenrir now looked moments away from cracking up. "Looks like leaving this time would be a bad idea. He'll chain you up Tom." He chuckled as his shoulders shook with mirth.

The other three wear also laughing at me. But I didn't care after all I really didn't mind if Vel did so in order to keep me. I was his and he was mine. "I promised him I'd still be here tomorrow may I use the guest room from last time?" I asked in a state of bliss. Fenrir nodded at me.

"Now on to details of the arrangement." Remus said getting us on track. Fenrir smiled shark like at this. "As you have seen Vel is infact very wealthy. Not to mention has the respect of all the packs on this continent. What do you have to bring to the table?"

And just like that the bargaining began. "I have an army for starters. I am also exceptionally wealthy. And most important I bring to the table the reason he wears those dresses." I responded with a smirk. Severus and Fenrir looked at each other in surprise. "I see you still haven't managed to find out the reason for that." I chuckled softly. I saw all of them looking at Vel curiously.
