A Certain New World

the village

The group slowly walked through the jungle. They stopped multiple times and bennu kept trying to pet the animals. Mistriz also moved slowly as she examined the plants and animals.

After nearly an hour of walking.(yup they were going that slow) they came upon a clearing. In the clearing there was a village straddling a moderately fast river which was 9 metres wide. The village was small there appeared to only be around 70 houses all made of wood with thatched roofs. As the group approached a man noticed and signalled two other men to follow him as he went to meet the group.

?????: abcal shabac oprug.

Accelerator: brencas nabram opera.

Bennu: what how the hell can you speak there language.

Accelerator: no I used the device.(but I could understand him even without it is it extra knowledge from qliphah or is it from the network)

Mistriz: oh well then tell him that we need a place to stay for the night. We need to stick around here until we get enough information on this caretaker before we go trying to get rid of him.

Accelerator: fine.
(Not in English) hay sorry but we are travelers who need a place to stay for the night. Is there any place to stay in your village.

?????: yes there is. If it is the will of the gods to bring you here then it is our duty to house and feed you. Come follow me.

Accelerator: why are you so trusting of us?

?????: because this village is under the protection of the lustful god. In exchange for the offerings we bring him he protects us. Nothing harmful could ever entered this village.

Accelerator: oh is that so? Well where does this lustful god live.

?????: oh he lives on that mountain.

The man then pointed to an incredibly steep and rocky mountain 6 kilometers to the south east.

Accelerator: oh so that's where he is. (I wonder if he knows we're here if he was doing his job he probably does but with his nickname I doubt that he is very diligent.

The group were escorted to the centre of the village where there were tables and seats as if there was a festival or party.

Mourir:(using the device) is there a festival going on here or something.

?????: no this is just the gathering place of our village. We all meat here every evening to eat and talk.

Mistriz: oh that's nice.

?????: why dont you all sit down while I go get some rooms for you and contact the elder.

Accelerator: fine.

The group split up and sat down. Bennu found a group of children playing and decided to join them while mistriz and mourir sat down drawing a crowd of men both young and old.
Accelerator sat alone but had a few girls looking at him from afar. But then a boy similar to accelerator in age came and sat opposite to him.

?????: hello my name is melos what's your name.

Accelerator: accelerator

Melos: nice to meet you accelerator.

Accelerator: why is it that you guys are not bothered by our skin colour.

Melos: we get visitors often that want to see our god and some of them look like you and umm your sisters...mother.....aunt.

Accelerator: none of use are related.

Melos: oh ok. Well accelerator do you need any food or a drink.

Accelerator: no I am fine for a while but I would like you to answer some questions.

Melos: um ok what do you want to know.

Accelerator: why are there so many more men then women.

Melos just looked down and started to figit with his clothes.

Accelerator: it's fine you dont have to say anything I can tell by the name of this god of yours what has happened.
So what is life like here (I see why Anastasia and dia were so concerned about these guys having control)

Melos: well it's fine nothing bad ever happens and we all get fed and have homes.

Accelerator: what kind of food do you have.

Melos: we usually have meat of animals the hunters have managed to kill and then many some berries and fruits.

Accelerator: Ok that isn't too bad.

?????: ok everyone please leave our guests be they must be tiered after there long journey.

He then motioned for the group to follow him again so they did.

They walked to a larger hut and entered it. The inside was dark but even so they could all see an old man sitting on the floor.

?????: hello elder we have visitors again.

Elder: oh is that so. Well I welcome them to our village.

The old man then looked up and was surprised by something.

Elder: it is very strange to see a group mainly composed of women travelling here and young ones as well.

Mistriz: is there something wrong?

Elder: no no it's fine just unusual is all it has happened before just not in a long time.

Bennu: oh well we need a place to stay for the night can we stay here in the village.

Elder: well of course you can. You can stay as long as you need to.

Mourir: well we do apologise the hospitality and kindness we will be heading out early tomorrow morning.

Elder: oh I see well then if that is what you plan to do then ok. Vanl please show them to the guest huts so they can rest.

Vanl: yes elder

Elder: and if any of you are up for it the dinner gathering will be in 2 hour's.

The group got up and followed vanl to an area of small huts.

Vanl: you can choose which one you would like.

He then leaves the group. Bennu then immediately ran to the biggest hunt there and the mourir went to the next biggest before mistriz took the next one.
After a while accelerator decided that there was no point in him just starting out side doing nothing so he went to the biggest hut that hadn't been taken.

Sorry this chapter was short guys I was just not in the mood for it. Hopefully the next chapter will be better.
I am thinking of starting a prologue of this book focusing on the founders before the organisation was made and starting the day or the day before they get their powers so 3 years before this story started. Tell me what you guys think and I will see you all again soon seeya
