In the human realm. Luz and the others are 16 while Gus and Mattholomule are 14 still in school.
Some sad stuff lol
"Hey guys?" Luz said, waving to everyone in the living room in the hotel. "Uh, don't be mad but I may have gotten into a fight with someone and said that'd we would win this thingy called 'battle of the bands' and uhh soo yeah.."
Everyone just stared at Luz. "Uhm, batata, I don't think we know how to play instruments.. Well, me at least." Amity muttered to Luz. Gus and Hunter nodded their head.
"Well I play the piano!" Willow exclaimed.
"Wait really? T-that's really cool haha." Hunter blushed. Gus poked him with his elbow and winked at him and Willow. Hunter grabbed a pillow and stuffed his face in it. By this time, everyone was staring at Hunter, even Gus.
Gus pulled hunter up and said, "we'll be right back, guys." Pulling Hunter into their room, hunter threw the pillow at Amity but misses and hit Willow.
"Aw shit. Sorry, Willow!" Hunter yelled while being pushing into another room.
Willow grabbed the pillow and hugged it. "Willow, how do you feel about Hunter..?" Amity asked, grabbing Luz's hand and holding it. Luz blushed and looked away.
"Uh, I feel normal about him. Why do you ask..?" Willow said, looking away from Amity.
With Gus and Hunter
"Hunter are you okay?" Gus asked. He locked to door and sat next to Hunter on the bed.
"Yeah I just thought about my crush I guess.."
"Okay, well wanna go back orrr?" Hunter nodded. Gus unlocked the door and sat back on the blue couch. When Hunter came back, Luz and Amity were gone.
"Where's Luz and Amity?" He asked pointing at the door. It was open.
"They went to the music store across the street. I was waiting for you guys. Let's go now, shall we?" Gus and Hunter nodded and walked out the door. Willow walked right behind them and closed the door.
"Hey, Luz! Hey, Amity!" Willow said. Gus waved at them.
"Hey, guys! We're looking for a keyboard for Willow!" Luz exclaimed. "And I'm starting lessons to play the drums!"
"That's so exciting, Luz! I kinda want to play the guitar." Gus said, giving Luz a high five. "Oh by the way, Luz. When's that thingy?"
"Next month.. Haha.." Luz chuckled nervously.
"WHAT. LUZ THAT'S IN 2 WEEKS." Hunter sighed.
"Haha yeah anyways gotta go, byee!" Luz ran out the door. Silence passed the group for a couple minutes until a balding man came up and said, "are you buying anything? If not get the hell out." The hexside squad quickly ran out of there.
"Uh, what should we do now?" Gus asked.
"Let's go to the mall!" Amity suggested. Everyone agreed so they started walking to the bus stop.
GUS'S POV
When Amity suggested going to the mall, I didn't want to go because one of my ex's worked there. But everyone agreed so I just went along with it. My ex was a female. Her name was Aylex and worked at the pretzel booth right by the front door to the mall. She had rainbow hair and still does now. She has green eyes and has freckles. She was kinda rude though so. As we walked to the bus stop, I whispered to Hunter, "uh, Hunter are you okay?" He was really red. He looked very sick.
"Not really. I feel like I'm gonna throw up. I feel like-" before Hunter could finish, he threw up. Amity and willow grabbed Hunters arms and yelled for me me to get a bag or something. I ran back to the hotel and saw Luz sitting on her and Amity's bed.
"Luz?" Luz jumped up and saw it was me. Her eyes were red and puffy. I grabbed a bag but then said I would be right back. I ran back outside and gave Hunter the bag which he threw up in. "Um, sorry, guys but I'll be right back.." I ran back to Luz and she was actually crying. "Luz! Are you okay?"
"Um, yeah. Sorry, Gus. It's just the stress of it all and everyone is just putting a lot of pressure on me and im just acting really dumb haha. Sorry Gus." Luz frowned at me and wiped her tears with her red jacket.
"Luz, we never meant to make you feel this way. And you're not dumb." I wrapped my arms around her and she hugged me back. "Oh and Hunter is sick. He threw up on the way to the bus so they should be here any moment."
*KNOCK KNOCK*
I walked over and opened the door. Hunter, Amity, and Willow ran over the the boys bathroom and let Hunter down from their arms. "I'm hic really sorry hic you guys can't go to the mall. You guys can still go without me hic I'll stay here by myself."
"Oh no Hunter. I'll stay with you. Y'all can go. Hunter, you are too sick. I'll help you." Willow said, smiling. Hunter was blushing but you could barely see because of his fever.
"Uh, Gus? Luz? Still wanna go?" Amity asked. I nodded and Luz did too. "Alright let's go then."
I fiddled with my fingers on the way to the bus and the mall. When I went on the bus Luz and Amity were talking while I just stood behind them. I saw someone on the bus who looked awfully familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it. I also saw a boy behind that person who looked about my age. His hair was brown and reached just above his ears and the rest was shaved kind of. He was wearing a red hoodie with black ripped jeans. I think he was listening to music because he had ear buds in his ears. The boy caught me looking at him but I quickly looked away cuz that's embarrassing, right? I blushed out of embarrassment haha..
