Chapter 26

Matulin na lumipas ang araw. Ang mga araw na nagdaan ay naging linggo, na hindi nagtagal ay naging buwan. Isang buwan at mahigit ilang araw na ang nakakaraan magmula nang huling makita ni Keziah si Quinn. At sa loob ng mga araw na iyon ay wala siyang naging nobyo.

She wasn't in the mood to go out and party. The last time she went to the club at Frenzied Cocktails with her sister and their friends, she almost puked at the scent of the liquor she ordered. Ni hindi pa nga niya iyon naiinom pero halos maduwal na siya.

In the end, she resulted to dance with a random stranger. But it seemed like even dancing was starting to refuse her. Agad rin kasi siyang nakaramdam ng pagkahilo kaya bumalik siya sa couch na kinauupuan nilang magbabarkada at doon namahinga. Hinintay na lamang niyang matapos magsaya ang mga kaibigan habang siya ay nagmumukmok sa isang tabi. She clearly didn't enjoy that night. And as a result, she went home feeling all grumpy, and Kelzi didn't know how to handle her sudden change of mood.

Ever since then, puro trabaho, bahay at shopping na lang ang ginagawa niya. Partying was highly far from being included in her list again. At least, until she feels like partying again, then she will do so.

Keziah groaned when she heard a knock on her door. "Just come in!"

"Still not feeling well?" she heard Kelzi ask when her bedroom door swung open.

"Obviously." she muttered under her breath as she covered her face with her blanket.

These past few days, she would always wake up feeling nauseous, groggy and sick. She was guessing that it all started when she had her period almost two weeks ago. Normal lang naman sa kanya ang sumama ang pakiramdam kapag may period siya, pero hindi niya maintindihan kung bakit hanggang ngayon ay ganoon pa rin ang pakiramdam niya. Para bang may dalaw pa rin siya kahit na wala na.

"Kung magpatingin ka na kaya? Parang hindi na normal 'yan eh." Kelzi suggested.

"I'm fine. Wala naman akong lagnat eh. I'll just rest for a while."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, so stop your ass from worrying. I'll be okay."

"Fine. Take some rest. Kung kayang mong sumunod sa SPAZZ, then do so. Pero if you still don't feel well, stay here na lang, okay?"

Keziah raised her left hand and gave her sister a thumbs up, the blanket was still resting on her face. She heard Kelzi sigh before walking away. Akala niya ay aalis na ito pero nagkamali siya.

"On second thought, stay here na lang pala. I'll tell Reggie about your condition. I'm sure he'll understand naman."
