Keziah had been staring at the pregnancy tests by the counter of the drug store. Hindi niya alam kung dapat niyang bilhin lahat iyon. To say that she wasn't satisfied with the results of her first test was an understatement. She truly couldn't believe that her carelessness lead to this. Kaya matapos ang pagdadrama niya kanina, agad niyang inilabas ang mga damit na pang-disguise niya. She covered herself with a hideous looking dress, wore a curly haired wig, thick frame specs to cover her eyes and a hairy mole beside her nose to complete the look.

"Miss, pwede paki-bilisan mo naman? Humahaba na 'yung pila!" reklamo ng babae na nasa likuran niya. Keziah looked back and true enough, she was responsible for holding up the line. She noticed how most of the people are looking strangely at her. She looked at the glaring woman behind her and apologized.

"May bibilhin na po ba kayo, ma'am?" tanong ng cashier girl sa kanya. She only nodded as an answer, took most of the pregnancy tests and dropped them on the counter.

"PT lang pala ang bibilhin pinatagal pa." rinig niyang reklamo ulit ng nasa likuran niya na hindi na lamang niya pinansin. She was fucking nervous already that she couldn't care less about the people around her.

"P1,378.50 po ma'am."

Keziah hurriedly fished out a P2,000 bill and gave it to the cashier girl, who placed the pregnancy tests on a paper bag. Nang matanggap niya ang mga pinamili, agad siyang kumaripas ng lakad nang hindi hinihintay ang sukli.

"Ma'am, sukli niyo po!"

"Keep the change na lang, ate. I'm in a hurry." Keziah said as she walked out of the drug store in haste, leaving everyone in a daze.

Tulalang nakatingala lang si Keziah sa kisame ng kanyang kwarto habang nakahiga sa kama. Hindi niya alam ang gagawin na pati ang katok sa pintuan magmula kanina ay hindi na niya pinapansin. Kanina pa siya tinatawag ng kusinera nila para makakain na siya pero hindi siya sumasagot. Wala siyang ganang kumain. Paano nga ba siya magkakaroon ng gana?

After getting back from the drug store, Keziah immediately tried to test if she is really pregnant. She was hoping that somehow, her first test came out wrong. But it didn't. The results remained the same until she no longer had any pregnancy tests left to use.

Keziah closed her eyes and cried. Naglaro sa isipan niya ang lahat ng mga kalokohan na ginawa niya. Party. Dirty dancing. One night stands. She should have listened to Kelzi beforehand, but she knew she had to be willing to change herself first. Dahil kahit na anong pagkinig niya sa mga payo ng kakambal, kung hindi naman niya kayang baguhin ang sarili niya at mag-move on, hinding hindi niya magagawa ang mga paalala nito.

She didn't know why she started looking back on her past, and suddenly remembering everything made her cry even more. Nangako siya sa sarili niya na hindi na aalalahanin ang lahat, but she couldn't bring herself to stop. Patuloy lamang siya sa pag-iyak hanggang sa nakatulog siya nang hindi niya namamalayan.

"--Mr. Sandler!" agad na bumalik sa kanyang ulirat si Quinn nang marinig na may tumawag sa kanya. Seeing the board members' eyes staring at him made him realize that he was in a conference meeting. But here he was, spacing out again.

"Is there anything wrong with our proposal?" he heard one of them say. He felt embarrassed but he couldn't show it to them. He cleared his throat and fixed his tie.

"I apologize, but can you brief me again?" Quinn said, and immediately, the speaker repeated his report. Pero sa kalagitnaan nang pakikinig, muling naglakbay ang diwa ni Quinn sa kung saan. Kinailangan pa siyang kalabitin ng secretary niyang si Aila para makapag-focus ulit siya sa meeting nila.
