*Jayden POV*

Buttoning up the two sleek black buttons on my suit jacket, I lean my elbow against the door frame of my walk in closet, and I form a small smile.

"I'm gonna get you!" Asher's voice is light as Charlotte squeals through my bedroom, running as fast as her small legs can handle.

Cassidy sits on the edge of my bed, holding her small hands on her overdue belly. She's two days past her due date, and I can tell that she's more uncomfortable than anything.

I moved Cassidy and her daughter in to my room, since the shooting, until I get the wall fixed, and even then, I'm iffy on moving them back in. I don't know how people knew that's where she was staying, and if word got out, I wouldn't be comfortable putting them back in that closet, incase it happens again.

I've been having Edward and Rowan clear out my large office, directly beside my bedroom, for a new room for Cassidy. It's a lot larger than the closet they were in, and it helps my peace of mind to know they'll be closer to me, if anything else were to happen. It has its own bathroom as well, so Cassidy won't have to try to sneak across the hallway in the middle of the night anymore.

I honestly thought it was Besson and his gang that was shooting at my house, but after Cassidy asked me why her husband would be shooting at her, I realized it was stupid.

When I saw the fear paint over her face, turning her skin pale, I began questioning myself, wondering if I should follow through with my plan. I know I can't keep Cassidy here forever, but I would try to make her happy, and I would forever keep them safe.

"You got a meeting?" My eyes click to Nidhi as she steps out of my bathroom, but only for a moment, before they shift back to Cassidy.

The woman, is glowing. Her bright green eyes shine as she looks towards me, still holding the bright smile she was shining towards her daughter. Her eyes look over my body, checking myself out head to toe before her eyes meet mine again. She gives me a slight nod, as if approving of my outfit.

"Yeah, Adell just pulled through the gate." I watch Cassidy as her hands slightly twitch as I mention the name Adell. Does she know him? "The name sound familiar? Do you know him?"

I push myself off the door frame and I begin stepping towards Cassidy, avoiding Asher and Charlotte as they continue to race around the room.

"Not a him.." She doesn't lie as her eyes never leave mine.

I pull out my phone, quickly dialling Banks phone number. He's been forbidden from stepping foot on the second floor of my home. This is where Cassidy stays in between meals, and I'd rather have them on separate floors, after what Banks pulled last week.

"Yeah, boss?" I put the call on speaker, incase Banks says something that'll trigger Cassidy to twitch again

"Does Adell have a wife, or sister?" I'm curious to know if Cassidy knows someone in relation to him.

"Uh, yeah. He married a woman named Dayana.." As soon as I hear the name, I hang up the call

Cassidy was waiting to meet a woman named Dayana the day I took her from the park. Gabriel Adell knows who Cassidy is, that's probably why he set up this meeting.

"Keep them upstairs. Keep them away from the windows." I nod to Asher, who nods back. I refuse to have either of them seen.

This meeting just got more interesting.

Without looking at anyone else in the room, I head out the door, ready for a meeting that I know too much about, already.

As my expensive leather dress shoes click against the marble steps of the stairs, I hear a door click shut. Mateo rounds the corner as I take the final step down and he nods in respect.
