*Cassidy POV*

"Don't move, unless you wanna end up like your brother." His words spit venom in my ear as I keep my eyes squeezed shut.

He pulls back further on my arm, causing a few of the joints in my shoulder to pop. I suck my bottom lip between my teeth, just in time to hear the sound of guns cocking all around me.

"Open your eyes." Jayden hisses, pulling my arm higher, sending a shooting pain through my shoulder and collarbone. He's close to dislocating my shoulder.

My eyes shoot open but I send my sight straight to the ceiling. I'm scared, pained, and panicked. I don't want to look at Corbyn, or anyone from Indefinite, I'm sick and tired of being looked at like I'm some damsel in distress. But I'm fucking thankful that they're here.

"Look at her!"

My eyes snap down to the man who I've missed more than anything. His dark brown hair is disheveled, like he's run his hand through the gel for hours. His eyes are closed shut tightly, making the dark bags underneath them more prominent.

Corbyn's black suit hangs slightly loose on his body. His suits used to fit him like a glove, it makes me believe he's lost weight, and I fear it's because of the stress I caused once I left.

I find it hard to swallow as Corbyn opens his eyes, and instantly the stormy colour that swirl within them, makes my eyes instantly fill with tears.

My heart rate picks up speed and I shift under Jaydens grip as my body automatically gravitates towards my husband, but his grip on my arm keeps me from taking another step.

"You see? It took me years to find you, but it only took me two weeks to find her. Your lover is always your weakness, I thought you'd know that by now, Besson."

I can sense the smirk on Jaydens face as I watch Corbyn ball his fists. He knows it's true, I'm his weakness; I always have been.

"Let her go." A deep breath leaves my lungs, hearing Corbyn speak. My eyes bounce around to the other men in the room from Indefinite, and that's when I finally see how much tension is in the room.

Zach grips his gun tightly, holding it at his side, his hand shakes, wanting to pull the trigger. His hair has grown, leaving his hair a fluffy, dark brown mess on the top of his head.

Daniel, standing directly beside Corbyn, holds a large blade that he spins around in his hand, as if trying to find the perfect grip. His hair is bleach blonde, but his light stubble is dark, on his paling skin.

And Jack, he stands strong, with a sleek black pistol in his hand. His slight curls are chopped off, leaving him with a fresh buzz cut. It suits him, it defines his features.

"You want me, right? Let my girls go."

Corbyn, he almost looks sick to his stomach. His skin is pale and he looks clammy, almost nervous.

"And what? I just let all of you walk out of here? Not a fucking chance!" Jayden drops my arm and I finally feel like I can breathe again. I take a quick glance back, behind Jayden, to see Asher still multiple feet away, with Elizabeth's car seat in his hand.

"No, you let my girls, and my men walk out of here safely, in exchange for me." My head snaps back to Corbyn and I take a step forward, towards him.

Is he insane? Does he not know that Jayden will kill him? Corbyn has to know why Jayden wants him so badly, right? He has to know his girlfriend was murdered, and he thinks Corbyn pulled the trigger?

"No." My voice is quiet as Corbyn and I lock eyes.

"Okay, they can leave." Jayden agrees too easily and I quickly walk to Corbyn.

Standing just a foot away, I don't know what to do. Do I hug him? Would he let me? It's been so long since I've been this close to him, I almost feel drunk off his cologne that I haven't smelt in far too long.

Corbyn raises his hands, but he stops them before getting too close, letting them rest in the air. Tears drop from my eyes as I realize he's hesitant too. Neither of us know where we stand with each other, but I step into his open arms anyways, and I wrap my arms around his torso, holding him tightly.

Corbyn's arms wrap around me just as tight as he rests his head into the crook of my neck. I take a deep breath, letting myself get lost in his scent as my body begins to shake from my silent sobs.

"Please, don't do this." I plead into his chest, not wanting to leave without him. "I'm not leaving without you." My voice is hardly audible but I hope he understands.

"As long as you and the girls are safe, I'd do this a hundred times over." Corbyn pulls back slightly, allowing him to look at my red, tear stained face. "Where is she?"

I look behind me, to see Asher slowly joining the crowd, and I take a step back from Corbyn. I take the two steps to meet him in the middle of the two, war ready gangs, and take Elizabeth from his grasp. I give Asher a slight nod, for keeping my baby safe.

Turning back to Corbyn, his eye's immediately get set on the week old girl, who's a spitting image of him. He crouch's down low, so he's almost at level with her and I place the car seat on the ground, so he's able to see her clearly, without my shaking.

Corbyn runs a light finger, softly down her cheek before whispering a barely audible, "I love you."
I watch with blurry vision as Corbyn stands back up, and nods his head towards the other members of his gang. Corbyn grabs my hand, pulling me close once again.

"I love you;" He whispers to me, placing a quick kiss against my lips. "I never stopped. And I understand why you left, I'm not mad, I love you too much to ever be mad at you."

Corbyn places his hand on my cheek as his lips meet mine again. My knees get weak as I kiss him with tears still streaming down my cheeks. What I once thought was our last kiss, the night before I left, makes me realize that Corbyn kissing me know, softly and caring, that this is our actual last kiss.

Corbyn pulls away, and he takes a step back, before wiping away some tears from under my eye. Daniel takes a step closer to us, and I realize he's grabbing Elizabeth's car seat.

"Please, don't leave me."

"Alright, get them out of here before I change my mind!" Jayden's voice makes me flinch as Zach takes a step closer.

"I love you, alright?" Corbyn's voice is small as he removes his hands from my body and takes another step back. "Take care of the girls for me."

"Corbyn;" I flinch again, as a hand gets wrapped around my bicep, only for me to realize that it's Zach. "Please, don't do this, come with us."

"I can't."

As I'm about to open my mouth, to plead once again for Corbyn to come with us, to get out of here and back to California, Zach pulls my arm, and I'm no longer in front of Corbyn.

"No! I'm not ready!" I pull against Zach's grip as my eyes don't leave Corbyn, and his don't leave me.

"We have to go." Zach murmurs, and I realize we're the only people on Corbyn's side that are left in the house

"No! I'm not leaving him again!" My voice is strained as I begin to scream and fight against Zach, but he releases my arm, only to grab around my waist and he lifts me in the air, turning me towards the open front door of the house.

"Corbyn! Don't do this!" I try swinging my arms back to fight Zach, but I know I've lost once the cold, winter nights air begins blowing my hair around.

"-Kill him!" Is heard over my screams and I begin to panic even more.

"No! No!"

A sob escapes my lips as Zach struggles to walk through the fresh snow, but he doesn't walk far before I get placed down inside a warm vehicle, and I'm pushed to the middle seat. Zach gets in the car beside me, and he reaches across my lap to do up the seatbelt.

"We can't leave him." I whisper lightly, trying to muffle my sobs so I don't scare Elizabeth, who's rested beside me.

"Do you trust him? Do you trust Corbyn?" Zach asks as Daniel begins driving the car down the overly long driveway.

"I- I don't know."

"Trust him. He always has a plan."
