Shiro was alone. The world was shrouded in dust and ashes. The wind blew her white hair. The sky was blood-red. She looked at her hands, bloody and dirty, without any power. She looked down at herself, still wearing the clothes Tomoe had left her, and it was unfamiliar to see herself all in white. Then she swallowed and looked up.
Shiro saw the dome in the distance. The hulls had begun to vibrate, and she knew it was strong – but her relatives would find a way to break it. It wasn't 100% impenetrable, and once her ancestors brought their energy into this world, she wouldn't have much time left.
Relief flooded her from head to toe. They were saved. They were all saved. As she had wished all along, and she knew, and that wasn't mainly to her credit. Oh, she should have said thank you. But there hadn't been time.
The curse was broken. Her Ninpo would no longer rob her of consciousness, she just had to use it.
She clenched her hands into fists and the pain in them shot through her. Ignoring it, she closed her eyes, relaxing her face, her mind, her thoughts, bowing her head.
Inhale…
Exhale…
Shiro opened her hands behind her and swung them forward in one powerful motion.
Nothing happened.
Thunder, screams, and black, swirling smoke began to fill the dome. Lightning streaked along the hull.
She looked down at her hands again and her face grimaced as her fears were confirmed.
"Oh no…" she whispered.

Splinter ran frantically through the liar, he had arrived here some time ago and his fears had been confirmed. They weren't here! Nobody was here! When news of a fight outside town broke through the hidden city, he had already had a hunch. But when Big Mama sent out her flying eye cameras to see what had happened and only had to report that they were stopped at the Wastelands by an unknown force, Splinter wasted no time and headed home. He felt the shock wave hit the hidden city just as he was leaving, and he sprinted the rest of the way
When he was sure no one was there, he was about to make his way back to the hidden city to look for his sons when he heard a loud rumble in the projector room. He ran down the aisle and looked inside. His face broke with shock at the sight in front of him.

With a groan of pain, Raph laid Donnie down on the only intact couch in the room, which he had brought from the gaming room. He looked down at his brother, he was still unconscious but seemed otherwise unharmed. Beside him, he heard Mikey flop to the floor and the blue glow of Leo's portal disappeared.
"My boys!" Splinter's shaken voice at the door. They turned to him.
"It's not that bad, Dad!" called Leo. "Most of it isn't ours!" and dropped on the floor as well.
Splinter ran in, barely daring to touch his sons. They looked awful and were completely covered in blood, dust, and dirt! Mikey had a bad laceration on his head, Raph had bloody skin on his legs and obviously couldn't use his right arm, Leo was covered in blood, a leg wound and also lacerations on his head. Donnie was lying unconscious on the sofa in samurai attire, and April was tied up and looking like she had just escaped death. Casey just sat her down in the only armchair and cut through her bonds with one of Leo’s swords, they squirmed and crumbled to dust as April held her head
"What happened?" said Splinter and joined his injured and completely exhausted sons. Something told him to be thankful they were alive. He looked questioningly at Casey, who was the most unharmed of all. He appeared to have only a few cuts and bruises and was very dusty.
