I am a Lesbian American and I've had a Homophobic and Xenophobic father. I believe that no matter what, everyone should be loved the same, and that is what inspired me to write this story at first. It then kind of evolved into its own thing over the years. Things have shifted, things have changed. Ultimately, however, I hope that the original inspiration for this work still shines through. I wrote this book to convey a message. We as the human race have always fought with each other for thousands of years, but we are not Primitive anymore. Now, this book will cover many harsh topics - and is intended for older audiences, as forwarning, there will be themes of torture, abuse, hate, discrimination, murder, violence, sexual imagery, and vulgar language. The reader's discretion is advised.

I should also mention that my fantasy race - the Animalloids - work differently. Humans are almost completely wiped out due to a slave rebellion by the animalloids in the 1300's, where the survivors were forced into reservations to live out their days in their own societies, watched closely by Animalloid governments. The anatomy of an Animalloid also works differently - most notably the reproductive systems of the different races, muscle mass, height, lifespan, and intelligence all work differently depending on race.

Also, I have very little experience in professional writing, so I apologise if the story does not make as much sense as some of the others out there on the market. My writing is not professional - nor do I try to pass it off as professional. Now please, enjoy the book, for I give you: "A Soviet's Struggle." - Jacklyn Desmarais.
